Just got a chiller for my cloner, but it might be too late. I have a cloudy rez with a little bit of slime in my cloner 7 or so days into cloning and roots are starting to show. Do I continue and see if the roots grow out or start over?

I do not grow hydro does this matter? I will be transplanting these into promix with a little bit of my hot mix mixed in, but barely any. I was wondering if the beneficials would kill whatever else would be on the roots and stem if anything.

Oh no-its the dreaded root snot! I'd let 'em keep going and see if they live. I've heard good things about Physan, but I've never tried it myself. There's a thread up in the stickies about root snot (actually brown algae). Good luck, you're facing the #1 enemy of hydroponic cloning.

Chiller? I'll guess you're aero-cloning and if there's one thing aero cloners love to do, it's fail catastrophically. Consider field stripping all equipment and washing in a 5% bleach solution, tossing the water pump in favor or airstones and raising the waterline.

The more crap you add to the res the more crap algae and slime have to feed off of. If straight water doesn't work (doesn't for me) try a 1/4 strength GH solution and a drop or teo of pH Down.
