clone worries

hi there everyone.
im after some help with my clones.
They are currently around six inches tall and have rooted fine but the leaves have been drooping ever since i got them.they are curling under slightly and also last couple of days they have started yellowing from the tips of the leaves.not seriously yellow but i can def. see it starting.
They are in a 50/50 mix of perlite and soil(not 100% sure about that as they came from a friend.ill check that out)
They only recieved water until a week ago and since then they have had 2 waterings with a small dose of super thrive. The drooping was there before the added superthrive but i dont think the yellowing was, so could the thrive be the cause of the yellowing?
My setup is a a cabinet arount 2 1/2 ft.H x 1 1/2 ft. D x 2 1/2ft W
At the mo they are under a 26w cfl as they are young so im still acclimatising them after the removal of the domes.for flowering i have a growking 250w warm cfl.
This is my first indoor grow, only ever done outdoor guerilla in past and have no experience using clones so could this just be a normal thing?
Very sorry but no pics, but please any general advice for poss. causes would be great, first thing i thought was overwatering so i eased back with it but no change so now im thinking maybe lack of ventilation to much heat?
wow thats alot to read but thanks for any help.

Once clones are rooted they can tolerate (and need) the same level of nutes that the mother plant was getting - so normally I'd say that you're under-feeding them. But if they're yellowing from the tips then it could be nute burn.

I doubt superthrive is a factor - and they should be able to tolerate heat and light.

Are you feeding them any nutes?

im a bit of a newb but heres my tuppence worth and i let you know why i think it might be appropriate.

the leaves curling under like you say might be a sign of over watering, you say you cut back? can you elaborate on this, pot size, amount of water and frequency of watering.

if you have been overwatering the soil structure might be poor, not allowing oxygen or nute uptake and this could be the cause of the yellowing.

these are both things which i have suffered from and were cured by poting into fresh well prepared soil and watering less frequently.

secondly the 24 wat cfl might not be powerfull enough or giving enough heat for your little plants, what area does the light cover? what distance is it at? and what are your temps?

im not sure if this on its own could be the cause of your probs but lack of light will definately augment any probs caused by over watering. ive used 40 wats of cfl to sprout some seeds and help some clones get ready for veg and found them wholey inadequate.

like i say im a newb but ive had probs similar to the ones your having now and managed to fix them quite easily so good luck to u

ok,thanx for the quick responses.i have experience with young plants(from seed not clones) i think i may have overwatered when they were rooting but like i said now cut down on the water,as i know they have rooted im only watering when they are dry.how long would they take to recover if overwatered?
the only nutes they have had is 2 feeds of superthrive.they are in 4" pots, when i water i just water til i see a tiny run out from the bottom.
ive veg'd under 24w fluoros now for bout 4-5 years and never had any probs.normally grow my outdoor strains to about 12" then top them, let them go to bout 18" and then they go out to there spots so im pretty sure its not a light issue.
could it be the soil they are in poss. too hot for them?
ill try and get a pic on a little later today so im sure u will be able to tell more by that
thanx for all the help guys
o and im sure its not a heat factor as the cab.is about 3 times the size of the space i used to veg in and never had a prob
