New to growing and I'm realizing the advantages of possibly having space outside of my grow room where I can get some cuttings under cheap lights until my grow space is ready. Does anybody have any experience with this? If so, up to how long can you keep your cuttings at bay before needing to veg them? Any info is appreciated!

Get a T5 or cfl, cuts average 2wks, you can supercrop/clone them 2 wks prior to flip, just keep a constant supply of what you need. Use a heat mat if its cold.

For a while if you want. Its probably better to get them going if they really want to grow but with minimal light and low nutes they dont do a whole lot, plus you can always raise the lights a little higher and keep them happy a bit longer. You can make it work somehow.

Ive vegged plants under single 20w cfl bulbs for weeks and weeks. I guess most people want the opposite. Grow plants grow.

using sterilite trays ,heat mat on controller and 2, 17 watt full spectrum floros for veg from Walmart like 12 $$$ each..only need one for cloning ....yeehaw...they can stay in this setup up to 2 weeks after rooting before it gets ugly...you put another tray on top for humidity dome and if you leave the florescent light covers on you can lay them right on top of tray for cloning..no light hanger needed....made this one out of cheap clothes rack found by dumpster....but making one out of wood is easy .....highly portable,setup anywhere and with bigger mat you can run 4 trays off one temp controller...this setup is from a 5th wheel trailer ^^^^^^^^ when I was in the sierras....got to have free weed ya know..i can and have grown just about everywhere with anything I got...
