Clone Report Los Angeles 2015

Let's keep it about the product and post factual. This is supposed to be a helpful and positive guide for growers in the los angeles area obtain and grow their own quality genetics. Suggestions from commercial growers are welcome but this is about quality not weight. <3 ♡

Let's try to keep the replies about recent clone adoptions and raising. It is 2015 lets keep it current. What they had years ago doesn't help anyone now unless you are going to provide some sort of independent assistant on your own.

i picked up a few strains from CLoneville (or maybe House of CLones, cant remember which) in january

-xxx OG
-Biker kush
-818 OG
-obama kush

the shop had pretty bad selection, only a few clones of each strain, and a lot of them weren't rooted. But i managed to find some healthy rooted clones of the above strains , enough to fill my tents.

they are about 1 month into flowering now, every strain is really nice, i am pleased. The biker kush is the clear winner, big beefy OG plants. the other OGs are nice but not as beefy , and the Obama kush looks like some kind of purple.

all the clones were clean, no bugs, i inspected them closely before purchase. The guy working there seemed pretty clueless, but i expect that usually.

i wouldn't recommend this place for clones probably, but if you are in the neighborhood it's worth seeing what they have

December 2014 i was directed to try all star clones. I was waiting for a lavender & blueberry cut that was previous advertised on their site. No luck on that but i decided to grab a couple of what they had on hand. Instead.

What strains did you get?
Bubba Kush & GSC Forum Cut

What condition did they arrive in?
Bubba was happy and a little on the larger size and came in a cube in a paper bag. GSC FC was a lil smaller same set up. Roots visible outside of the cubes of both strains.

Did they turn out as advertised?
Bubba may or may not be true legit Bubba. I think their are only a handful of people on earth that would really know. Seemed to be "clonse enough" lolol. The GSC fc seemed pretty delicate and a slow grower. Decided to shelf her and never ran her to flower.

How was the end product?
Bubba seemed dank. Would not place it as a true top shelf or AAA+++ but above average potency and average to above average yield.

GSC fc was culled because it was eatting up real estate and not performing.

On the 18th I called Sherman Oaks Holistic Oasis SOHO and asked when they would have Banana OG & Art's OG clones. The gentleman S who picked up transferred me to L and I was told to call back next week Wednesday (25th). Lo and behold after a quick call that next wednesday morning the same two gentleman are working and confirm those 2 strains but also said they had 2 more.

What strains did you get?

1) Banana OG ( ? orgnkids banana og? )

2) Art's OG ( Not a lot about this strain on line. http://ireadculture.com/article-permalink-2750.html is all i coulds find about it )

Also on deck on that morning was a couple other flats too so I picked up

4) SD x OG



What condition did they arrive in?

Green, happy, no pests noticed, visable roots.

Did they turn out as advertised?

NA, No clue. Never ran any of these before. It's been an adventure on this coast. If any of you have any experience or knowledge of any of these 4 cuts from SoHO. Please chime in. =)

How was the end product?

NA


As far as the rest of the clubs as of this week. Nothing really stood out.

Buds & Roses does not have a vendor and is not looking for one. I was told that but the very curt and stern woman who told me who ever told me that KK was dropping SC there was wrong (their own bud tenders multiple times) so idk I'm told they dont have clones and wont.

Allstar has XXX, SVF, Monster Cookies, Alien Bubba, SD as of yesterday when i called.

PO Genetics. They ave moved to their new location and they are still setting up. They phones now work and their computer is up and running and are digging through a mountain of back orders. Ive got 10 cuts from their vault pending since November still.

Green Dragon had Headband, some 3nd cut i forgot, and Super Skunk and i missed out on the skunk by 5 minutes.

I did not talk to or visit Cloneville or TLC this week. CV is what it is and TLC all i really want is their valley girl & is by some act of god orange cookies. lol

Did not see this one mentioned, but they used to be Cup Winning Clones and now they are Patient Gardens, 323-215-7049, [email protected]. I saw them on an OC dispensary weed maps menu, but when I called they were sold out so they gave me contact info.

What strains did you get
C99 BX1 Mosca Seeds
Northern Lights Sensi Seeds
Fire OG BX1 OG Rascal
Tangie Crockett Farms
Bogglegum BOG Seeds
Sour Strawberry BOG Seeds

What condition did they arrive in?
6 to 9 inches tall, indicas had 7 or 8 nodes like bonsai trees, clear 16 oz cups with visible thick white root balls, no bugs all green, came in soil had coco option. Each was labeled individually with lots of strain info included on labels.

Did they turn out as advertised?
Yes, all quick finishing phenos and potent. C99 was done in 54 days and it was the pineapple pheno.
Northern Lights was easiest plant I've ever grown and she came very strong.
Fire OG needed Cal mag and I gave a pk boost like they told me and she came out very potent but only a little above average yield.
So yes, what they told me was true to each strain.

How was the end product?
I'm growing all but the northern lights again right now (it's not loud enough), so very good. My best overall grow and I ended up with a couple new moms too.
