Clone question

I have been successful in rooting a clone the mother plant has been in 18 on 6 off light cycle. if I decide to take the clone out side will the clone go into flowering or will it stay in a negative state. I wish to take out this clone so as to grow it outside. Another important fact is the plant mother is about 4 month old

what i would like to now is if the clone at the current stage still thinking its a 4 month old plant or does it think it a few weeks old

That is why clones are nice. They start as mature small plants. The day you put it out it was already 4 months old. It will be a very mature 8 month old plant at harvest and should yield as good a smoke as it can.

Hope that were true in the Southeast,I dont care when you put a cut outside its going to flower. This is normally because of the maturity of the cut,and the fact that its been under an abnormally long light photoperiod I reckon.I cant even get 14 hours of daylight here on June 20th the longest day of the year lol,its not clone friendly.I tried easing the photoperiods down from 18/6 to 14/10 before setting them outside, they flowered anyway. For those of you that have acted like putting a cut outside and she will veg normally, just where do you live and what do you do?I have a funny feeling a lot of people spoke from inexperience...again......tarzan if I put a 4 month clone outside in 5 months I'll have a flowering cut, period.

You can do 12/12 from seed Soilman outdoors. They won't be huge but probably around 2' tall. Yet, as for Peafunk, clones will flower with less than 12 hours of light. That's how some people sex their plants while taking cuts.

Yea I know seedplants do great outdoors, but cuts do not.Although cuts do fall from trees/plants and take root in nature, seed pollenation is really how they keep going.Maybe dropping a cut and it flowering immediately is some sort of built in reproductive backup phenomenon lol.Maybe If the reproductive parts of the seedplants becomes somehow non-viable,there are fast flowering cuts present to ensure continuation of the species.Yes,these are the thoughts of a sick, demented cannaboidal brain early in the morning.

I have taken clones and put them out May 21st every year for about six years now. They veg just fine and are finished budding (with the strain of AK I use) around late October. So, yes clones are fine to put outdoors, but then again I guess it does depend on where you live. I live near Toronto Ontario, and it has worked great for me with numerous strains. The one Blueberry strain I have has been cloned for over ten years, and she does well also. Hope this answers your question - good luck!

Out of curiosity do you know your light/dark hours on June 20?I would use that as a determination on if cuts will veg outdoors.

facts about the clone

Strain is-sitiva Arjen haze

locatin-south florida

what i am thinking is that when you grow sitiva they grow tall not like indica that grow short so what worries me is that the clone is going to go into vegative emdiatly and it not going to grow tall like it would if it came from seedling

South Florida?I havent been successful vegging a cut outside down here and nobody I've given cuts to has been successful.I think earlier I said on june 20th you may get 14/10,I'm pretty sure that was incorrect, its closer to 13/11.Thats just too many dark hours it seems. If someone in the S.E has been successful vegging clones outside in the summer,I'd like to hear how they do it.

TGT what is your longest day up there. What is your sunrise/sunset today?I'm curious as to how many dark hours you have going now.I would think its around 10 hours dark or less,I dont know how they'd veg otherwise. This is interesting to me,I only wish cuts vegged down here normally outside
