Clone problems

Alright so my 10 females (9 og kush hybrids and 1 bagseed) are doing great at 14 days into 12/12. Bud sites have all established and pistils are sprouting vigorously. My problem is that I took 2 clones from each female the day I put the ladies into 12/12 and now at 14 days I have no roots and the clones are looking ROUGH.

I used 5.8pH water to soak my 1" rock wool cubes, I have a seedling heating mat that goes on 3 or 4 times a day for 2 hour increments, I mist them once a day to keep the moisture and humidity levels up in the propagation tray/dome. The tray is under 40w of floro for rooting and I used Root tech on the cut....I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong..I even used a disposable sterile scalpel to take the cuts with. Some of the clones are showing a bit of new growth on top, some are still green on top but the larger leaves on the clones are all dying.

I've got no roots and I'm at the 14 day mark, I have no remaining seeds and I have one specific OG that is UNREAL a lime green coloration, great structure, and a sweet and sour lemon lime kind of smell coming off her that I love.

What should I do? it's a little cold in my grow area, I'd say around 70 degrees. Should I up the heat mat cycle? should I mist more? the tray stays wet/humid enough to keep a constant cover of moisture on the dome with an ounce of water in the tray.

Should I try to take another cut off my favorites now at the 2 week mark before re-vegging a clone becomes an impossible task? I'm so pissed about this after the careful planning and preparation that went into this.

any advice is appreciated,

Take the mat off the timer and use a piece of cardboard, or several, or none to slip between mat and tray and keep temps STABLE right at about 80'F.
Constant blue light that is not too bright is good for rooting.
Did you squeeze/shake out the cubes? Wet cubes= no O2 to roots= no roots.
Get teh water OUT of the tray!!!
Mist ONLY if wilt is observed, and only mist the inside of the dome, not the plants.
You are creating conditions that are telling the plants, "it's okay to keep taking in water through your leaves, no reason to root", and also preventing rooting by oversaturated RW by the sounds of things.

How big are the cuts and how close is the light? Do you "tip" the leaf blades? Even without roots the cut may try to grow using the nutes that are stored in the larger leaves which will show as a premature yellowing. My cuts are under 1 26 watt cfl that is a full 2 feet from the top of the dome and they are removed using a new razor blade. Is this "disposable scalpel" an exacto knife (small and triangular ... for hobby type stuff/modeling)?

Stinky I think your on to something brother. I just squeezed my cubes and they were putting out a LOT of water. I gave them all a good draining, absorbed 90% of the water in the tray and now have the heat mat on a constant cycle. I think I was def. creating a far too moist environment. I'm going to lay off the water for at least 24-48 hours and try to stabilize the temp at 80 degrees, I'll keep you posted on my results.

Weedman Herb The cuts were all pretty nice in size, about 4-6 inches with one set of leaves removed leaving 2-4 chutes per clone. The scalpel is exactly like an Exacto knife only disposable, it's a sterile tool used to cut during surgery of humans and animals. I initially did not tip the leaf blades but when yellowing started to set in on the larger leaves I did take the tip off as I was unsure if the tiny cuts were able to sustain the larger leaves.

Thanks for the instant responses gentlemen, any more feedback is certainly welcome.

My sincere apologies sister, thank you so much for your assistance. I'm going to review the guide you posted now and I'll let you know in the next couple of days how things go.

If things don't turn around soon I may be looking for your guidance in re vegging and rooting a flowering clone hehe.
