Clone care

Hello everyone!

I just accuired 10 ak 47 sativa pheno clones from this dude. This is my first indoor grow. They have been rooted and are in plastic cups. I think the soil is promix. Anyways I have only been giving them distilled water for the past few days now, because they looked as though they have been burned by nutes. They are staring to green up though.
I was just wondering if I should continue to give them plain water until things clear up or should I go ahead and start feeding them. I am going to get some fox farm grow big tomorrow. I have them under a 400 watt light right now.24/7 Temps are staying at about 78-80f.
I am thinking of keeping one of them for a mother plant. At what size will I be able to start taking cuttings from her?

Thanks you guys :):):)

you could continue to give them plain water.
i always give my seedlings abd my clones water with 3/4 strenght nutes. after a week i go to 1/2 strenght and if they are doing ok i go to full strenght.
wou will be able to take clones when the motherplant will be bushy enough. i do it at 1ft, but i train mine.

He means 1/4 strength not 3/4...:D Then up to 1/2 after a week...
If they have a good root system a light fert with proper ph'd water will do them fine....
Probably a good call on distilled water when yu got em...:D

Thanks gantz and rookie! :)

Sproutco, is 18 6 better for tighter more compact plants and faster growth? Someone once told me that keeping the lights on 24/7 would give me more plants with more nodes...Thanks for the chart too, brother. :):):)

^^^ Yep I would hafta agree.... 18/6 or 24 hours really doesn't make a whole lot of difference except on power usage....
I always keep my moms on 24/7 and I usually veg at 18/6 but i have vegged with 24 hour light...
I think the 24 hour may save a day or 2 of veg, when we're talkin about a month long veg, but apart from that there's no real difference...

I used 24/0 as well without probs, both work. During veg, cannabis doesn't need a dark period. 24/0 gives a little faster growth rate but keep in mind that the lights can't cool down so if you use higher wattage lamps you better have a good airflow..

Great info you guys! :) I am thinking of maybe keeping a few of them for moms...My yeild will be less but I might be able to cope with it by vegging longer and training my plants that will be budded out...:)

Thanks you guys:):):)
