clone and moms under one light ? t5 fixture.

I'm considering purchasing a 4ft t5 fixture for my moms and clones.my idea is to grow both under one fixture. do others do this method ? what would be pros and cons ? I know from reading that clones need low light at first. my idea is to shade or keep bubble cloner out of light directly. what would be a good distance to keep bubble cloner from light with new clones. do this method seem like a good idea ? Asolutely. I do both with T5's no sweat. 18/6.

what distance do keep cuts at first under t5's ? now my other ? 4 bulb light, 6 bulb light or 8 bulb light T5. is 8 overkill or is 4 light better. which spectrum is better for clones or moms? all blue or all red or mix of blue and red. Taproot

With a T5 I wouldn't light clones at all. Light the moms and leave clones off to the side or, literally, underneath. Moms can utilize direct light, clones don't need it. For moms, I'd go blue to inhibit stretch and keep them compact.
