hi all,

i want to put some plants into flowering but im not yet ready to clone them

after 2 weeks of flowering, once i pull the males, i would like to clone all of my females.

after 2 weeks they shouldnt have any bud on them, only starting to show hairs

would it be ok to take cuttings from them and clone them at this time?

would the plants stress at all from the cuts? would it possible cause hermi?

I second going towards the bottom to find cuts without pistils if possible,if the cuts are too far into the flower mode you can experience single and three bladed non serrated leaves and pistilly vegetative growth.I would not perpetuate a pheno that way, always take veg cuts if you plan on keeping it viable for muliple grows. Its fine if you're going to flower them out and forget it.

why not just take a couple cuts off each before flower, label them, flower the mother plants; and meanwhile you will have a couple cuts of each plant and a bud sample of each before you flower the cuttings.

Keep a mom from each keeper pheno you find.

I always take my cuts in veg starting with the original seedplant that doesnt get flowered out,I wont make that booboo again lol.You will actually increase your yield and save a lot of headache by flowering out the cuts and trashing the seedplant.Unless you enjoy 4-6 ft unwieldy gangly bitches taking up all your room for 60 days. When I was new I didnt understand this either, when I bought brothers grimm cindy 99 mr. soul told me not to flower out the seedplants,I was green and didnt listen.Big mistake with most any indoor strain if effeciency means anything to you.

I would take cuts during veg however I am putting the plants into flowering with only 3 weeks of veg time so they finish small.

My goal is to end up with 1 to 3 foot plants that are mainly a single cola.

And i know what u mean by 4-5 foot monsters taking up all your space, my last grow i vegged for 1.5 months and ended up with 4 footers when i wanted 2 footers... whoops!

But i've decided just to reveg all my females and keep whichever i want for mothers, i dont feel like fucking with clones during flowering
