Clawing, rusting, only 1 branch

Hey all, I have a few leaves clawing a bit, and showing some rust/gold dry coloration on leaf tips. It is only happening on one branch however. And mostly for upper leaves. I believe that tip had browned edges from hitting a CFL for a bit, but would clawing later be a result.

The only reason I think it may be the burn, is lower leaves are still quite healthy, and all other branches have leaves so flat they look pressed.

So long story short, can light burn cause leaves to stay slightly clawed until they die?

It's not likely to be light burn since you're using cfls.

It sounds like either a very minor case of nutrient toxcicity or under-watering. The only time my plants "claw" or curl is when they are thirsty. The "rusting"sounds to be nutrient burn... Are the leaf tips crispy at all?

I think it does sound a bit like under watering.

If it's only one brand, I'm sure things will be fine. If things are growing well and most of the plant is okay, it sounds like there's something going on in just that one area.

And that's probably okay.

It's when you have a systemic issue that you need to start making a lot of changes.

good luck!
