City Growin..

A friend of mine was talkin about this recently. He seems to think that growing in the city is a horrible idea for security reasons. While i think it might not be that bad actually. In the city especially a big one like NYC, Philly or Chicago, I think police have greater issues to worry about then somebody growin some weed. They have to deal with murders, rapes, robberies. But on the other hand they also have more man power dedicated to drugs, and maby more experience. Also in the city nobody is really in ur buisness especially if you live in rowhomes. In the suburbs u can't stand on ur lawn without ur neighbor commin out 2 talk to u. What does evrybody else think? Safer in the city?? or safer in the country/suburbs?

Where I live you'd want to be out in the country. You could be 45 min from downtown and have no neighbours around you for a good 10-15 min walk. Lot of those properties are COVERED in pines and maples with tons of bush. That's my perfect idea of a secure house to safely grow weed in (location wise)

It’s being done everyday and as you suggested there are bigger things to worry about in large city. Although some places are inherently more dangerous people grow everywhere. Its more about how you handle yourself and your grow and less to do with where. In my opinion it’s tough to make a blanket statement like that too many other variables. You rarely read a thread in the security forum that says, “ Busted because I grow in this location.” More like lapse in security due to GF, wife, party, stupidity, informant, etc.

Just don't let the crack heads see you haulin grow supplies and water to your location, and you're all set. Make sure your odor control is in place (Carbon filters are a must in the city)

And, if you aren't short on the bucks...put in a power back-up to keep the fan running in case of black/brown outs.

Those backup systems, designed for big-ass computers I think, are very pricey, but cheaper than hiring an attorney to keep ya outa jail.

Play a sport? even if you dont, still find out when they do play and make sure that's your "hobby" day and make it obvious you're playing the sport that night and use the same bag to carry your hobby as you do your sport. (Soccer, wear the uniform if weather permitting, football have the helmet outside the bag and make the bag look packed, hockey have the sticks/skates and a full bag)

Some nice ideas there. Hamstring you definetly have some good points. And you are right its not the location that gets u in trouble. Since i don't grow it don't matter to me. i just thought it would make a good debate City vs Country/Suburbs. Another thing is smell. I was thinking since citys are close quarters that smell might be a big concern. But then again i can't remember ever smelling my neighbors frying fish haha. Also theres alot of different smells in the city. Cars, conor stores, chinese, factories. Another potential problem is getting ripped off. i'm almost positive that random break-ins happen more often in the city. Getting rid of unwanted "trash" in the city is also pretty easy. You could just throw everything in the alley or use one of the hundreds of dumpsters random trash cans ha. Genetic you mae a good point. A hockey bag could fit all kinds of stuff in it haha. Take it easy./
