Cinnamon Grow Report

Hi everyone. After growing Indica strains for a while I thought it would be good to try a Sativa. The strain is Cinnamon it was grown from seed, two weeks of 24/7 light. Then onto 12/12 lighting, 125 Watt CFL's for the first four weeks of flowering then under a 250 watt HPS. It was grown in supermarket potting compost with lots, about 30% vermiculite. Nutes were Vitalink Bloom and Vitalink Bud for the last 6 weeks of flowering. The nutes were left over from a brief excursion into hydroponic growing. At half strength they have worked well in this soil grow.

The seed was started on 23/03/07. It went onto 12/12 lighting on 08/04/07 and harvested on the 30/06/07. 11 weeks flowering but five massive cola and a mountain of mid-plant flowers to show.

The largest of the cola is around 40cm long covered in massive buds.

This was my second attempt to grow on of these huge plants, The first plant just got to big for my grow room and had to be chopped :puppydoge Regular topping kept this one down to 1.90 meters tall with perfectly formed buds covered in trychs that sometimes extend onto the shade leaves. When drying and curing is complete I will post the final crop weight.

That's an inspiration to me! I have two cinnamon under a 250w, one week veg from seed. They've just shown the first flowers. I hope I get buds as good as yours. Top grow mate!

Hi. For the last four weeks of the grow the cola were so heavy they would have pulled themselves over without some extra support. It is a long grow but well worth the time :jump:

please give a smoke report!!!! sounds tastey... are these crossed or 100% sativas???

Cinnamon is 90% Sativa it is based on a rare Jack Herer phenotype. I will submit a smoke report soon as curing is complete.

Hi Prophecy  My grow room is 2m long x 2m high x 1.5m wide. When evaluating this grow don't forget to take into account it took 13 weeks to bring the plant to maturity.

Did you training it? I have 4 feets high and 6 squares foots space. I'm the LST king so I'm pretty sure I will be able to control the height of this cinnamon plant.

Hi Prophecy. I did not train my plant only topped it. Keeping one of these plants to four feet is going to need all your LST skills. Have fun

When did you topped it?

My hashberry was 2.5 feets high but with LST they was only 1 feet high. If I put the pot in the full right of my cabinet and tie it down horizontaly I can have 6-7 feets of net growing space. Can't wait! :headbange

Hi Prophecy. I topped the plant from when it had six sets of leaves until the first sign of flowers. From when it started flowering until maturity it slightly more than doubled in height. Please keep me informed how your grow is going.
