chopped too soon???

I have a GSC going and the main cola is HUGE and caked in frosty goodness. Its about as big as a 2 liter coke bottle. I haven't looked at the trichomes under a mic but I can't imagine it needed anymore time. I got confused on my dates however, and I chopped the main cola off it still should have about two more weeks to grow (flowering time is supposed to be 70 to 80 days).

My question is will the rest of the plant be ok and continue growing properly now that I chopped the top off?

It will continue and finish even though you cut the 2 liter off it. Can we get a pic of the bud you speak of?

Doesn't look like the hairs turned orange yet. It would be a good idea to look at the trics when you plan to chop the rest. GSC? Those must be from swerve.

Well, Its GSC from BCBD so its probably not GSC at all???

It doesn't really look like a real cookie. But I hope it turns out dank for you nice size cola too. There's some really nice cookie crosses out there but you just have to find the right ones. Have you looked into any others?

Thanks for the pic!!! That is a really nice sized bud. Lot's of pistils, and they're still white. Prolly could have went at least 2 more weeks like you said in your previous post. I don't see any trich's on it. Does it have them in person?(camera's can be deceiving)

That's the first and only pic I have ever seen of BCBD Cookies. Prop's for posting up, they get an awful lot of hate on this site. Reason being- shitty business practices, and seeds that aren't what they are said to be.

Point being- I haven't seen any cookies that look like that. I have the forum cut, have ran Candyland, and even have run Cali Connects cookies. Your original assumption is correct. It's not "the real" GSC. Prolly a cross of a bagseed clone that came from a semi-seeded pack of GSC.

At any rate, it looks like you know your way around the grow room. With those other breeders you listed, your gonna have some fire plants. I will warn you about Barney's farm......if you want something that will finish in 8-10 weeks, don't get anything from him that has the g13/haze. Ran his Tangerine Dream and Liberty Kush. Took them both to 10 weeks (several runs with each strain) and they still had 2-4 weeks to go......I had to chop them to make room for the next crop.

Yes tons. Looks like they were dusted with sugar... Im going to let it finish for two more weeks, Ill but up more pics.

Ha thats funny my other two plants going now are Tangerine from Barney's. Once this grow is over Im going to try my luck with a 4 bucket rdwc scrog of some holy grail kush from DNA... I can hardly wait to get started. I must admit Im getting this soil thing down pretty damned good so Im a little worried about RDWC but with the same amount of attention I should get as good or better results.
