Hi im new to this thread and next year i will be growing outdoors and i need some ideas for strains to grow, but the downside is that i live with my parents. although i wont be growing on our property i live in a wooded area so im going to grow in the woods. Also another problem i have is that since it cant grow indoors i cant do the 12/12 to try to get a feamle so i was wondering would you guys just get feamle or normal seeds. i wanted to grow anywhere's from 5-15 plants, some for personal use and mostly to sell. im just looking for anything that has a really good high and a good yield Thanks.

you should check seedbay they have a lot to choose from... i will also be looking for some good strain suggestions for next year... large yield, good taste, and quick budding... any of you OG's got a good strain you would like to suggest?

Give us an approximate idea of what kind of latitude and weather you have so we can suggest something ideal for you. The strains you can grow depend on your weather; for example, I live in the tropics and I can grow a 5 month flowering sativa. If you live way up north, the same plants would be dead before they even began budding.

mtr pm'd me and asked me a few q's...for the benefit of everyone else here, i'm gonna answer em right here.

mtr: since you live somewhere in the northern US, you want a strain that flowers relatively quickly and is mold resistant, due to the heavy rainfall and humidity in your area. c99 is a good strain. so are early pearl, jamaican pearl, early girl (sensi seeds).

if you want something heavy yielding, they're gonna need a lot of light and you're gonna have to dig holes and feed and water them well. are you prepared to bust ur ass helping em grow? chronic will probably finish in time. arjan's haze or strawberry haze won't be suitable for you; it'll get wet and cold before they finish.
