I have two spaces I can use to make a grow room...I am currently growing in a closet.
One is a lean to...insulated, with sheetrock and concrete floor 9 foot wide, 7 foot ceiling, and about fourteen long. It would be relatively easy to run water to, install air...and heat etc.
The other option is to build a room inside my shop, also concrete floor. Would be hard to run water, but there is electric and lights that could be repurposed
I could make the ceiling much higher. But this would reequire more lumber, labor and insulation.
I know what you're thinking...why not both?
If you had a limited budget, where would you start?
I am a hobby grower and grow my own medicine, but have collected many landrqce derived and would like to grow those out.
This is not a profitable venture but something I would like to do for fun.

If you spend a lot of time in the shop it makes sense to do it there
You already have to condition the space and might as well benefit from it IMO

I really don't, it's huge and I'm at work most of the time. Maybe when I retire I can spend more time in the shop? It would take there walls built and the other room only needs one. Its just such a low ceiling...it stays about fifty degrees even when not heated and in the thirties outside.
