China Yunnan Sativa Pheno

has anyone discovered sativa phenos of China Yunnan? Do you think thats whats happening in the pictures above? Would love to find one if thats what it is, grow on

That would not be the pheno I would want, too much leaf and not enough resin.

what i've found was a surprise, check the thread about that plant:

That's the phenotype you search for when you want to find the
hidden potentials of a plant.

And also finding different phenotipes helps you to gat a better knowledge of the strain.

As we commented previously in other posts/threads, the original China Yunnan population that we received was not a completely 100 % indica wide leaf indica like a real pure afghani could be ... there are also sativa looking expressions in this chinese line (SE asian sativa influence), like the plant posted in your pics and the ones i'm posting here.

The more sativa chinese phenos have overall lesser quality terpene profile, less resin production, and milder effects than the more indica hashplant phenos, although some sativa phenos are better yielders (especially outdoors), there are also some interesting sativa phenos with good CBD amounts that had a great medicinal effect ... makes you feel blessed, relaxed without anxiety.

Honestly, i prefer the more hashplant indica chinese phenos. Indeed the whole Kali China breeding was selected towards the best wide leaf hashplant chinese traits, and improved and stabilized after a few inbreeding generations.

Pure China Yunnan is out of stock since 2013-2014 as i have focused past years most of my energies to stabilize Kali China.

I hope to reproduce the pure chinese again in 2016, probably in spring time, and this time i will only use the best wide leaf pure chinese genetics to produce this new generation,
so you can expect lesser sativa expressions in the upcoming pure China Yunnan releases, and more typically hashplant type of plants.

I had few KaliChinas that had foxtails. So I suppose that there is more sativa leaning phenos in some seeds.
It's always nice to have variation, then you can choose what is best for you
