Here's a keeper cut I got from a friend of Chimera's Frostbite..

This is the 2nd plant I've flowered, the 1st one was jus a lil 12ish oz cup 1 cola sog, extra clone.. it wasn't given as much light or care, and the 2nd plant (this one) turned out and had better aromas..

It's kinda skunky, fairly dank when grown better.. Unfortunately, for some reason, this cut is jus finicky in my gro.. it likes to put out a few pollenless nanners in late flower for me, altho other peeps don't report as big of a issue.. altho there is other reports of nanners..

The taste if actualy pretty good, but the high is just very 'hollow' to me.. like.. to average, missing something, i guess.. i dunno, maybe it's jus me, there are some people that really love it..

I would rate the taste around the BD's SSH clone or PG13, but dif than both.. jus on thier level of dankness..

If the cut wasn't so finicky, and didn't thro out nanners i may have kept it around longer.. I'll live, and i'd rather grow rene.. it's faster but doesn't yeild as well..

This plant was grown in a 6" square/shallow pot, and wasn't given the best w/ft2 of light during the last few weeks.. But the buds are dense, and I think it will give me 1.5 oz, which is excellent yeild for a 1/2 gallon.. Probly woulda finished faster in a warmer grow and with more light..

altho i didn't keep the clone i can see myself smoking alot of this until i have more bubba, deez, cheese or rene ..

Enough of that ^ here's FrostBite @ 66 days:

lol, john, yeah, it seams that way sometimes... for me at least it seems like maybe 1-3% of the stuff I grow ends up being something truly special and keepable..

I will say this tho, I am VERY impressed with the odor on this clone, it is indeed, quite skunky.. Definately the skunkiest seed strain in flower I've grown.. it's nice because it has the exact same 'type' of smell as RKS, jus not near the intensity we're looking for.. if RKS was a 10 this would be a 2-3 on the odor/fume level.. but the type of skunky smell is right on.. I'd guess that organic nutes may give her another 1-2 points on that scale and perhaps may make her a lil less finicky..

But then we come to the ever-to-common problem of this seedline not being easily/readily avaliable.. If it was it would get my seal of aproval and a top 5-10 of the best seed strains I've had so far..

thanks lucid, i kinda made it sound a lil worse than it was, it truly was a good one, and i would grow it again if someone gave me a pack of originals or F2, 3 etc.. and that's saying' alot.. only been about 4-5 seed strains i'd redo.. and thanks for the props bro..

thanks artisan, that's another thing impressive about this strains (or clone at least).. take a look at the pot size, then lok at the 6 well developed colas and many other decent buds.. I don't even think I could fit all the buds into the pot I used for her. and when u outyeild the pot you used you know the plant does well with low amount fo medium, which works well for my grow.. also, that tight space coulda amplified the nanner ratio.. the other report of nanners i heard was in large pots and there were only one or 2..

overall I give this plant a solid 8 for a seedline.. and i think some better phenos are to be found.. i'd like to grow some F2s and look for some skunky representations of the skunky mum/dad that was used..

anyways, thanks for all that posted.. i know i made it sounds a lil lack luster in my 1st post.. but after hadnin' out free samples the feedback is pretty good.. altho i persoanly am still lackin' the high I'm after..

Hey, it is as I guessed a while ago - - There may be some sort of scientific base for all these theories after all..! lol

Regarding a cut of 'C - 4' that I was gifted, and kept around for a while.... I wondered where the Shishkaberry part was, in my cut, because the smell, taste, etc. were so wild...

The cut I refer to produced buds that looked almost exactly like the Frostbite, but a bit lime greener, and it ate all the nutes it received, hungrily. I had been looking to see a pic of this strain, to compare...

Thank you very much, Beancounter, for growing this out, and photographing it.

A perfect illustration of the power of the internet coupled with knowlegeable community.

QUESTION: Does it smell like a garlicky, sort of jewish-foodie strong odour...? My pheno of C-4 did, and many loved it. Not sweet really, unless I added (SWEET) by botanicare... And then - just a bit... It was like an acrid, rotten, cloyingly-beautiful mutant TRAINWRECK odour, and taste that I never got used to. But the yield........

Not a heavy hitter buzz-wise, like head-thumpin', but some really loved it.

C-4, yup - a few nanners here, as well, but no polliniation took place...

I love the shape of your plants...always seems like 6-10 fat buds on a relatively short plant. I am going too try to prune earlier like the second node to see how it works. I tried it on a few bonzai from seed and it worked really well, better on an indica than sativa. We'll see.

The blockhead f2 I grew has cured out to have a really lovely floral smell to the smoke and a very nice taste. Hard to describe , but floral. Hope all is well with you...

Peace....
