Chimera's C+

Here's one I cut down not long ago,it finished around 65 days. It's made from using a 25 year old Cali-O female pollenated by a DJ Short BB male.I germed 5 seeds and got one nice female. The plant grew with no problems of note.
The yield seemed a little small but there may be better phenos I haven't seen yet.The buds were solid and resin covered.
I'm not a huge Cali-O fan but this is one of the best I've tried. The citris flavor is really sweet and tangy as is the smell. It smells really good in the jar.I didn't get a lot of BB in this one but it did purple up a little.
The potency is fairly good and the high is a good Indica/Sativa balance.
All in all not a bad strain, probably the best tasting herb from Chimera's latest offerings.

Beautiful looking shots as always JLP. You sir really seem to have "the touch".

Out of curiosity, how much, weight wise, did she yield?

Keep the Peace

The few buds you got look great JLP. I'm sure with a few more seeds you would find a nice yielder. Thanks for the report and pics.

Thanks guys.

I don't own any scales but maybe a half oz or so.

I like smoking it from a pipe to get the flavor so it'll last longer than if I rolled joints.

hey m8,

Good work JLP that looks like a tasty treat you have there, hows the smoke on that? Powerful to the head, or more of a smooth smoking sort?

Congrats!

I couldn't help but notice in your top photo that your leaves turned a funky yellow as they did in my first run of C+. Was that your careful manipulation of N to finish just right or did you find this cross prone? My older leaves started to yellow after about two weeks of 12/12 and progressively worked upwards. Niether MG nor flushing seemed to bring back the green back. I'd like to learn all I can before I sprout the rest of these beans and would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks guys.

Yeah,Greenhit thanks,it's the Blueberry male,I edited my original post.

Hey przcvctm, the Blueberry line has a bit of a mutant side which can make the leaves dry up or contort. This can occur over a range from minimal to plants that simply won't grow.It can look like a MG deficiency but I run enough Cal/Mag to keep everything else green and healthy. You'll probably find better plants in your next round.
