I wish they'd advertise the fact that cannabis HELPS with problems like alcoholism and drug abuse..something that native americans can seriously benefit from..I'm unfortunately not very in touch with my native roots, but I'm excited to see where this goes.

I was raised in a very conservative state that has voted against MMJ several times. I figure this will open the door a little, and then the rest of the state will come to its senses. My understanding is that weed is approved on reservation land which is treated like a foreign country. It doesn't matter if the state is Med, Rec, or nothing.

Someone needs to roll in heavy cash and pitch them on the new gold. Apparently while the American Indians used cannibus is their healing rituals and peace agreements, selling it for recreational use hasn't caught on. This is just waiting to explode.

Send Tribal Administration/Council/Tribal Governor's a REAL business plan with attached RFP (request for proposal), detailing how you can assist them.

Anyone can spout off they can grow....showing REAL numbers to Tribal Council (believe me, I've been there a few times pitching health care programs and had a relatively good success rate through thorough detailed plans) is a good thing.

May not happen overnight, but you 'planted' a seed for them to consider.
