Chex Mix recipe anyone?

I've never had much of a sweet tooth. I'm more of a salty snack kind a guy :dance013: Chips, pretzels, nuts... Not that I need to be stuffin my face w/more carbs :sumo: LOL. I know that chex mix is made w/budder. Was wonderin if anyone had ever tried makin it or anything simular?

the main problem is concealing the cannabis flavor, which is not easy. that is the reason you see so much chocolate used.

i have consumed garlic olive oil supersaturated with garlic and cannabis that was delicious to cook with. i did not taste the cannabis. of course that is all in how one goes about making it.
 
I've gotten ganja chex mix from a dispensary before. You can still taste the cannabis but the salt does help.

This is pretty much the normal standard chex mix but with cannabutter:

Ingredients:
6 tablespoons cannabutter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt (I use Johnny's without MSG)
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
3 cups Corn Chex® cereal
3 cups Rice Chex® cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex® cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup bite-size pretzels
1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces

Preparation Directions:

Heat oven to 250°F. Melt butter and mix Worcestershire sauce and salt, place all other ingrediants in large bowl, pour butter mixture over ingrediants and stir mixing completely. Pour into large baking pan.


Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.

Personal Preference: When I make it I also make a non-cannabis version because as you get the munchies this recipe can be dangerous. I also add a tablespoon of parsley to my cannabis version so that I can tell the difference and not have to rely on remembering which container I put which in. This keeps very well if in a airtight container. I store mine in tupperware and it will store for MONTHS this way.

me too. i'm experimenting with clarified butter. eliminating the whey (water based), uptake of chlorophyll is dramatically minimized. i think my next move is to add lots of minced garlic...hmmm, lightly grilled for sweetness and thorough distribution. then on to the chex mix, yes?
