Chewing tobacco?

Hello, :tiphat: is anybody using chewing tobacco? I am a heavy smoker, 30 self rolled cigarettes plus some pipe and Joints a day. Before some days I was in a smoke/head shop. Just for fun, I bought a pack of "Thunder Original Chewing Bags" and oh wonder!, I smoked not one cigarette in the evening for the first time since more than 36 years!! I can´t believe it. It makes me relaxed, the nicotine is wrapping smooth around my nerves. A cigarette is like smoking crack, a quick dirty kick. My bronchia is better after just 3 evenings of not smoking. The chewing tobacco of today has nothing to do with the stuff we all checked as young Teenagers I think. ;-) You don´t have to spit and a lot of different flavours today. I just ordered my Nachschub/supplies.

If anybody has problems with smoking to much cigarettes, give chewing tobacco a try.:)

Good for you on losing the smoke habit. Now that you can hold off the shakes for a few hours take a minute and wander down to your local vape shop. Ask to get educated on the various products and set your self up with a quality hardware rig and a couple flavors of eliquid after sampling. Once you get used to managing your batteries and changing coils you will be set. Your taste buds will regrow and your breathing will improve. All the stinky clothes, house, car, breath, goes away. And that nasty spitting from chew is a huge turn off, and having a wad of radioactive concentrated tobacco in one spot in your mouth will lead to problems. Almost all of our thousands of customers, who all started out as desperate to quit smokers, eventually throttle down the nicotine levels in their choice of juice to very low, basically maintenance. Good luck to you and congrats on stopping smoking.

I would rather die of COPD than be caught vaping. Ya'll are like vegans with that cultist habit of trying to convert anyone and everyone.

YUR CHEWIN'? Damn Herman. Do you put whiskey in your coffee or coffee in your whiskey?

Haven't had a good chew in awhile. It was good sport when we were younger to switch the spit can for the drunkest persons beer and watch them turn into a vomit volcano.

I remember...

I remember...

I remember some 40 years ago when I was inducted into the Army.

The Rednecks would chew Schoal and spit into soda cans...

So gross  and most of them didn't have any front teeth.

I stopped before the teeth thing, but yes I have heard the same. I can see grabbing a tin once in awhile.

Smoked cigarettes for 20+ years. Best thing I ever did was walk away from tobacco.

It helps to have someone supporting you in this:

- Tell the complete truth to yourself and everyone around you for 6+ months
- Refuse to participate in drama. If they're not working toward a solution, they can discuss the problem outside.
- Stop smoking in cars and buildings for 6+ months

Now, go get a pound of cannabis. Want a smoke? Drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes. Still want a smoke? Roll and smoke a joint. High CBD will work better than low. ;) You'll be done with cigarettes in less than a week.

:tiphat:

I've tried dipping skoal once and I nearly vomited.....never again. I was a cig smoker for 18 years, I made the switch to electronic cigs and haven't went back to cigarettes. Been vaping for 18 months now my lungs, throat and allergies are worlds better.

You don´t have to spit and

what do you mean by that bro? you may not be spitting loose chew/chaw/plug tobacco out, but you damn well need to be spitting the juice/saliva you build up, right???

I knew that you were a heavy smoker by one or two posts you've made in other threads, since then I'd always hoped that you'd quit, but as we're all adults pickin' our own poisons I had to remain silent. Now that you've brought it up, so have I, be better to quit all of it.

Hello all, Stoner, Douglas:tiphat:

as we get our new car we stoped smoking in it, it was good to do that. I loved driving, hearing music and smoke a cigarette. It was no Problem. I wasn´t driving and drinking red wine but I started to drink a lot less in the evening. (It´s funny, you don´t get me over the health, you get me over the money). We save up not money since smoking and drinking less and importend, since over 25 years my wife was cooking a warm meal in the evening. Now since 3 weeks we eat bread in the evening. (Bad for the Food Porn Thread:biggrin:)

But to the chewing tobacco, for me it works to make a breakthrough to old bad habits. I don´t say I stop smoking but for the first time in my life since 6 or 7 days I don´t smoke in the evening and today I smoked 10 cigarettes less, minimum. It´s crazy, my wife is proud and can´t believe it, I can´t believe it also. Every smoker knows it, it´s wonderfull to smoke after a meal. After this lunch ( Sauerkraut)
I forgot to smoke. :)

Let´s see what the time is bringing.

@Stoner No, you don´t have to spit, really! There are different flavours to buy, different much nicotine. I know chweing tobacco only from my youth and yes, it was a terrible taste and you habe to spit but the new chewing tobacco is different- I don´t have to spit.

I post the website in english, than everybody can make his own picture

Rock on. Awesomeness! :)

Look for high CBD strains and work on getting some around. It'll help you quit the chewing habit you're forming. hehehe Seriously though, great job! :)

Thanks Douglas and it was a coincidence to find the tobacco. I was to early on a date and had time. Only shop close, to spend some time, was a Headshop for weed pipes, pipes, bongs, papers, growing material. They sell tobacco for shihshas, liquides for e-cigarettes and chewing tobacco. I didn´t know what I shall buy, got enough pipes and papers. Was talking with the man in the shop about Country Music, at last he asked me, if I want to try chewing tobacco. I did and the rest of the story is standing here.

PS It gives me a new Quality of life also. Now I can go again, on a concert, take a fly or can sleep in a hotel. All places where smoking is not allowed today.

But in Germany we say,: Don´t sell the fur of the bear, before you shot him. Time will tell,....:)

I bought a pack of "Thunder Original Chewing Bags"
Hello Herman. Good for you to cut back on the cigarettes, it’s tough to do for a long time smoker (especially after a good meal). You mentioned “chewing bags”. Are these tobacco pouches like “Snus”?

Hi Betterhalf, yes exactly, like "Snus". Here is the link to the Homepage of the "Snus" I use.

Hello trichrider, thank you, I´ll give my best. Every way is beginning with the first step. ;-)

PS My mom died, with 52, my age now, on my 30th birthday, on lung cancer. That gave me to think also. But I don´t want to promise to much.
