Chevy's 3rd Grow Show

Heavy Chevy

Well Ladies and Gentlemen I have already started underway on my 3rd grow. I have been lurking around the forums but decided to share this grow with all of yall. I am currently growing Northern Lights#5 x Big Bud, White Rhino from Nirvana, and 2 different strains that I am not sure of out of a MMM#2 freebie pack but from what I know of the smoke both are potent as hell. In the future I plan on adding a few more strains but for right now I am just working with what I already have. I will post some pics for everyone later tonight. :joint:

Well I am in the process of building a small box for my plants to veg in and perhaps using some T5 Fluoros because they run pretty cool. I still want to wait for a few of the smaller plants to get bigger and once I get the veg box built I can put the clones and small seedlings in that. Then I can get get things rolling and start the flowering. In a nutshell I would probally say about two more weeks or so and then we'll really get this show underway.

 Thanks guys, its good to see someone has taken notice. I was hoping to be in flowering by this time but things have gotten off to a slower start. With each grow I seem to be gaining more patience and instead of just throwing them into flower right away I am gonna let them veg some more to get a nice root system and plenty of growth up top. Hopefully when its all said and done I will yield more this time but we'll see. I am still trying to grasp the concept of cloning and that has been going much slower then I expected also... Not to mention I am trying to construct a small box for a seperate spot for veg/mothers/clones and that has been going a lil slower then I would like aswell. The MMM#2 Beta and the NL#5 x BB were stunted because I was pulling alot of clones off them because I was intending them to be used for mothers while I let the MMM#2 Alpha just keep growing so it over took the other two. I plan on waiting till these two catch up someone then i'll throw them in their screens and we'll get this party underway. :woohoo:

 Hey Chevy I've found threw the years that patience is one of the most important things a grower needs. Let them get bigger and they will reward you in the end.

If it's cold in your cloning room that could be the cause of the slow rooting and slow growth? :chin: I had the same problem last month when it was as cold as hell here, but my patience helped me out.

A coat of flat white paint will do wonders for your garden. :chin:

Nice grow

Ditto on Garlics comments. Your reply shows you pay attention to your girls, you are seeing what they need from experience, and that is priceless. Props dude.

For an embarrassingly long time I had problems cloning. I tried all methods but one - rockwool in a dome over a heater. On Garlic and others advice In January I took the plunge. I bought a stick on LCD thermometer for the front side of the tray, noticed that even with the heater if I left the dome cover off the temps were in the low to mid 60s - with the dome on I can get them up to 78 and finally my bad cloning karma is gone. I think the rockwool stays well aerated when it is wet, that plus the warmth seem to do the trick.

Hey - just take a fat ole plant, shove it into the carburetor on your 350HP Heavy Chevy, and you'll have rockwool ready cuttings spitting out the exhaust! ( Sorry, suckin on some Powerskunk has made me :woohoo: , couldn't resist :pointlaug )

Hey Garlic and MGJ!
Well funny you mention flat white paint because thats what I planned on using. I have a few days off from work so hopefully I will be able to get things flowing. All seems to be going well and I hope to be able to pick up a pH meter very soon so I can become a bit more aware of the state of my runoff and water I am dumping in. So far I have been flying blind... I really appreciate the positive comments guys it really gives me alot of inspiration to keep growing. Just smoked a nice bowl of some Rhino and I am pretty blazed and am gonna retire for the night, peace. :joint:

Real healthy garden, im looking forward to seeing some pics of the White rhino when she's in flower....Nirvana's was one of the 1st strains i grew and to this day it still stands out as a favourite, especially for potency.
Peace

Thanks truecannabliss! I have to agree with you that White Rhino is a favorite strain of mine, Its for sure my favorite strain out of the 4 I am working with now. It gives me a really nice mellow laid back high, really relaxes my body and isn't a racey high. A great strain for just chilling. Thanks for stopping in hopefully you'll stick a round cuz I am hoping to have some good shit in store for everyone.

Hey MGJ good to see you could stop in, I always appreciate your humor :biglaugh: . As far as the hood is concerned I don't have any ducting hooked up to the hood for cooling because my temps manage to stay around 75f with lights on so all is good for now, it will come in handy though during the summer. The White Rhino seedlings are exploding and I have been using this Dutch Masters Folitech Grow which seems to be working. Has anyone had experience with this product? Just curious if it worked for them and was wanting some opinions on the product. The scrog should be filled in pretty soon so I am thinking we should be able to get the flowering started in about 2 weeks here. :joint:
