I bought a pack of these and was stoked to pop them, now not so much. I got 8 females out of the pack and 3 of them were runts that got culled. The remaining 5 are almost 3 weeks into flower and I noticed today that they have all hermed. I run a perpetual garden and harvest every 3 weeks. I am expecting a boat load of seeds as these hermed plants have male flowers that were fully formed and dropping pollen by the time I caught them. I am running 462 plants and have had zero issues with herms on any other strain. My garden is dialed in and has no issues that cause stress to any plants. Im 100% positive that its the seeds. I have run several CGS strains in the past and never had an issue and was always very happy. I dont know how these seeds got past quality control as every female has hermed pretty severely.

The worst part is that I cant even cull them as their roots are fully intertwined with the other 42 plants in the system, so I guess I will have to pluck the balls daily for 6 more weeks. This is double fucked because I had such high hopes for this strain that I half filled my ezclone 120 with clones of these that I will have to toss in the trash.

I even kept a male from these seeds which had a stem that smelled like DMT. I never keep males, but this one had a special smell and thought he would make a good breeding project. Now I have to cull him too. This bums me out.

You say that you cant cull them , cut them off at base of soil instead of tryin to rip them out

Just cut those bad plants at the ground level and you problem is solved.

This way your good plants won't be affected. Just leave the roots alone.

Hurry or you may end up with lots of seeds.

The odds of getting every hermie flower is small on a large grow.

So chop now hurry.

If I cut the plant off but leave the dead rotting roots in the system for 6 more weeks I will get rot throughout the entire system. They are not in soil, they are in an aero/nft system that contains 42 plants. And Im already going to have a lot of seeds. Those male flowers were dropping pollen and I have fans everywhere.

Ok, what about cutting most of the plants off and leaving one branch
or two alive on each plant to keep the plants going so root rot doesn't
happen.

As it grows keep trimming it as to not allow
any hermie flowers to appear. This while
the main crops matures.

Something tells me next time they'll be planted in separate pots.

Good Luck regardless what you do.

Sorry bout your misfortune, man. Def can be frustrating. Thats why when I run anything, I dont put it in the line up in mass quantities till it gets the once over.

SSSDH, Blue Dream, Lemon Skunk, Strawberry Cough, along with some other strains from seed which I was testing. I have some Secret Recipe from CGS that probably got hit with some pollen. Are all the seeds Im sure to find going to be female? And will the herm trait be passed on?

So sorry for your bad luck F. Dupp. Good previous experiences with CSG made you complacent.I've been there. Tighten things up and get back on it..and test shit before you make it a major part of your grow. Good luck

i'm growing out some seeds now that are the product of a plant that hermed accidentally pollinating a feminized offspring of some hermie traits crosses.

anyway i found 1 male out of the 8 of 13 survivors that made it to this stage.

you might find some hermies, but the majority should be girls.

It wasnt a total loss, I just gave my guy a discount on the total 6.5

I ended up plucking the balls off of them and keeping the plants. There were two very distinct phenotypes. One leaning Chem and the other straight Casey looking/smelling. The Chem leaning plants are the ones that hermed badly. The Casey dominant wont clone for shit, but I found one plant that was a nice mix of the two strains and is potent as hell and yields well. I have found no nanners from the clone run of this plant that is now 4 weeks in and looking spectacular. I think I might run this plant for a bit as long as its balls dont drop.
