I got 3 strains recently, and i figured i'd do a smoke report on them. Haven't had a grow up in awhile, but i've had some pretty good bud to hold me over from other people. Before i review these strains, i am going by the name they were labeled as when giving to me. You can never be 100% sure with names, so take it for what it's worth although the Chemdog And Bubblegum seemed to be top notch. I also included some pictures in the reports.
First up, is some Chemdog:
Potency: 9.5/10 Absolutely killer strong, the only strain i've had that comes close is the Afghani i did a smoke report of about a year ago. Gives you an almost crippling high right away and makes you unable to do complicated tasks. Lung Expansion is high as well, makes you cough even from a small poke.
Smell: 8.5/10 Very fuely and strong, got it vac sealed and as soon as i cut the bag open the room started to fill up quickly with the smell. Sort of a rotten smell as well, very similar to other kushes and the afghani i had. Not amazingly pleasant, but unique.
Taste: 9/10 Taste similar to how it smells, fuely with a lemony diesel kick. The taste stays on your tongue for a little bit. It tastes even better than it smells, i'd also say the taste is very unique.
High: 9.5/10 Very strong and at some points can feel numbing, high seems to last a long time and doesn't start to fade quickly either. You have a solid high for about 2.5-3 hours straight. About 8-10 Calyxes worth will get you stoned, and i mean it.
Overall: One word, amazing. Strongest bud i have ever had, and the high lasts for ever. The tolerance buildup is very low, and even after smoking alot of it i still stay high for several hours. The taste and smell are also very unique, and deserve a try from anyone. Top quality smoke.
Next up, the Bubblegum.
Potency: 8/10 Strong, but not too strong. More of a relaxing strong. The Chemdog is too strong, especially in the morning so this is a nice change.
Smell: 9.5/10 Very fruity and sweet smelling, this is the 2nd or 3rd type of "bubblegum" i've gotten and this one is the only one that had a sweet sugary smell like gum. Most of the others have had a skunky smell and taste.
Taste: 8/10 Good, but doesn't have the sugary and gum like taste like the smell. Almost non existant taste, a little on the sweet side but very light. Not great, but good.
High: 8.5/10 Not super strong, but very relaxing and strong enough to keep you comfortable. I really liked the high, because some of the kush's tend to make me very tired and clumsy. The high did last for awhile though which was nice, not as long as the chemdog but about 1.5-2 hours.
Overall: Great for the taste/smell and relaxing high. Definately a good morning or afternoon smoke. Probably the best smell and taste i've ever had from a strain. Lengthy high was also a plus. Definately good to keep something like this around when you have some of the kush or kush type strains for a nice change from pure strength.
Coming up last is the Northern Lights X Blueberry cross.
Potency: 8.5/10 Pretty strong, nothing amazing but a little stronger than the bubblegum it seemed. It seemed like a needed to smoke a little more of this to reach a comfortable high though.
Smell: 8/10 Fruity but a hashy smell as well. I didn't pick up any blueberry smells, but it was pretty pungent and hashy/earthy smelling. Not bad, not great.
Taste: 7.5/10 The taste was a little above average, very similar to how it smelled. Earthy and Hashy undertones. Taste goes away quickly after you exhale.
High: 7.5/10 Nice high, relaxing and comfortable high like the bubblegum but fairly short length of high which i didn't like. I found myself wanting to smoke again about 60-75 minutes after i originally smoked.
Overall: Not as good as the others, but i'd say that is because the others were so good so this one didn't really stand out. It still was fairly good all around though, and is better than alot of the stuff i get. I did like how it wasn't very leafy though, and the buds were big and dense.
I only have one picture of this and it's a little overexposed. Oh well though, you can still see what it looked like for the most part:
Here is the Blockhead. The buds were in your face purple, very frosty and dense. I had good yields on all the phenos too:
Potency: 9/10 Strong, but once again not quite as strong as the Afghani or Chemdog. This is the purple pheno i'm reviewing by the way. It was a heavy indica, very strong in the head though i must say
Smell: 9/10: Sweet and Fruity, but fairly light smelling. I wish i had cured it a little longer to bring out the smell and taste more, but it still smelled very nice. Almost pure fruity smell, with a small peppery hint.
Taste: 8.5/10 The taste was good. Like i said, i think if i cured it for longer the taste would of been brought out more. The taste was a little non existant, but the tones i could pick up were a slight peppery and spicy taste with a fruity bite.
Appearance: 9.5/10 Looks amazing, in your face purple hues and covered in triches. Very high Calyx to Leaf ratio as well. The colors are very unique IMO, you can get anything from red, to light purple, to very dark purple, etc. type colors in her. The shade of purple in the buds was different than most purple strains.

And here is the Sour Diesel. It was fairly leafy, i was told it wasn't really trimmed that much but it was still frosty, and looked better once i gave it a trim job. Looked like it might of been grown outdoors, but i'm not positive. The Buds were shaped like sticks, looked like it was hung upside down and when it dried they stayed shaped like that. Nice and fresh.
Sour Diesel:
Potency: 8.5/10 Fairly strong, a very mixed and even high. Creeper type strength, hits you slowly.
Smell: 8/10 Pungent, fuely/pinesol smell. Has a hint of the sour/rotten smell as well, and has a very "fresh" smell.
Taste: 9.5/10 Very unique taste, sour and fruity bite. The taste can be distinguished from pretty much any other strain i've tried. You can see where the "sour" in SD comes from. Only reason i didn't give it a 10 is because the stuff i got was a little untrimmed so some of the bowls were slightly harsh. A quick trimjob pretty much fixed the problem though, so i don't think it's the strain.
High: 8/10 The high is very mixed, slightly energetic but numbing in the body and head. Not too strong, but certainly not weak. Good Afternoon or Evening smoke. Creeper high, hits you slow and then stays strong for about 45-60 minutes. My only complaint is that the high doesn't seem to last very long, maybe about 1-1.5 Hours and only an Hour at most after a few days of smoking her. Tolerance buildup is fairly high.
Appearance: 7.5/10 Looks good with a trim job, since mine was fairly leafy. It has a darker dull green tint, with stacked calyxes but not stacked like foxtails. The calyxes sort of grow up like a stick along the stem. Fairly good crystal coverage, even most of the big leaves had crystals on them. Doesn't look as appealing as something like the Blockhead, Chemdog, or OG, etc. but looks don't really mean much.
Overall: 8.5/10 Definately worth a try for the taste and high alone. The length of high, however is kind of a let down because by the time you start enjoying your high, it starts to wear off. Still great bud though, and good to keep around for it's awesome taste and to impress your friends lol.
Some other buds i had awhile ago that i never put reports/pictures up of. I'll edit this post with reports soon. Right now i'll post the pictures. The strains are Pot of Gold, Hindu Kush, Afghani, and Durban Poison:
Afghani:
Potency:9.25/10 Very strong, i had to put it a little lower than the Chemdog, but i'd say it's the 2nd strongest out of all the strains i've posted in here without a doubt. Pure Indica type strength, couchlock like a motherfucker and hits you very hard, especially through a GonG.
Smell: 7.5/10 Smell isn't bad, very similar to the Chemdog in the fact that it has that very pungent almost rotten smell. More on the rotten/skunky side though, without any fruity or lemon tones.
Taste: 7.5/10 Taste was similar to the smell, very pungent with an earthy and somewhat sour/rotten bite. Taste stays in your mouth a little too long, and the aftertaste isn't that great, like a hashy bite.
Appearance: 9.5/10 Looks stunning, packed with crystals and perfect golfball size nugs. All the nugs were rock solid, and trimmed to perfection. Cured and Dried perfectly, very thing stems that crack with ease. This is what i expect great bud to look like.
Overall: 9/10 Overall it's very good smoke, extremely strong and great for the indica lovers out there. Probably the best nighttime smoke i've had, makes you want to fall right to sleep. The bag appeal is also amazing, there isn't any unwanted leaves or stems to be found. This bud would constantly set on fire from the amount of crystals, the hashy taste it gives off is unique as well and seems to come from the abundance of crystals. Definately worth the money i paid for it.
EDIT: Just a quick note. Just so people keep this in mind about the taste, high, etc: The Chemdog, Bubblegum, and NL X Blueberry were smoked out of a Headies spoon only. Everything Else AKA the Afghani, POG, Hindu Kush, Durban Poison, etc. were smoked out of a GonG mainly. So the tastes and high might be a little different on my reports from strain to strain.
