thanks mysta, I understand you wantin' to stear clear of this, and i really didn't intend it to be a 15+ page thread questioning someone's credibility.. so no worries bro, and thanks for showing us what u have to date..
I'll agree with all when you say mysta's looks alot dif than the pics H&L reposted (which are Fire's btw, he received a very large clone and that's why it's so big at 10 days)... but in the same breath, in my very humble opinion, and in my very humble experience I think most of the differences we are all seeing come from the dif Nitrogen levels each grower is running.. along with enviroment, light levels, etc.. (how many w/ft u running her under mysta?)
I've withnessed many, many times over, both in veg and flower.. that a dif nute regime and varying levels of N, P, or K (and micros, or all of the above) can cause vast differences in look between the same clones.. I've seen pure indica cuts look sativa without enough N, and other blatant differences (especialy stretchyness and leaf size/colour/shape).. Then there's water source, co2 exhange, medium, light intensity.. to name a few..
You'd need to grow both clones in the same setup to definatively say that mysta is running the same cut, not that he is.. and bro, mysta, I dearly and truly hope that is a dif 'real d' cut you be growin' right there, with all my heart.. I don't want to see you go thru 2-3 months for something you won't smoke..
And don't get me wrong, it's smokeable weed, and many would be happy with it.. but it seems like hay once you get used to the headstash..
All the above ^ is not meant to discourage you from growing yers out mysta, not at all, by all means do.. All i meant by the above is that we'll need later flower plant and nug shotz, and a good smoke report to be sure of anything.. maybe even some blind samplin' between the cut i have and the cut u have could be an idea..
I'd hate it jus as much if I was the odd man out to get this big-budish cut, and with this thread scared off a bunch of growers from growing the real thing that i somehow didn't get.. Altho I'd hate to see wasted garden space and time I would love for as many growers as possible gro this clone out, jus so we can be 100%.. but i wouldn't blame anyone for culling it.. I've recomended all the peeps i gave the cut to cull it, cuz we already know it's not worth running.. the plant H&L reposted for me was almost 5' tall....
good luck to all, lets hope we were jus the unlucky ones and the rest of you have some real D to play with.. either way, i would apreciate honest grow/smoke reports from your cuts when the time comes..

mysta- i cant tell by the pics, do you have leaves like these every couple of nodes:

i have a couple pics that should clear this right up...back in a sec.
Seriously though REz, you didn't even have that clone before too long ago. I've been smoking the chem d for almost 4 years now, and know for a fact that at least 6 or 7 people in the homebase area have chemdawg family clones. Plus several more on here and it's probably more like 20. I've got the sister, confirmed no bullshit from one of CDs buddies. When chemdog releases seeds, a lot of this bullshit will subside because people will want to get them straight from him, knowing full well he's had a handle on these strains for over a decade and will know what to do when making seeds. BY the time people start sprouting those, they'll find more amazing phenos and we'll have forgotten about most of this BS.

when i got her...there were no restrictions given...she already knew i had no intention of passing it on to assholes or another breeder to make$$$ from.
simply put...i love to grow killer pot...she knows it...does too...and spred some love my way....
if she told me not to pass it...i wouldnt throwit all over the place in peoples face parading around THE CUT...this is counter-productive. no good.
its just a plant...soon everyone will have what they think is it anyways..just like the OG...
i dont understand all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes, with breeding and selling seeds...
i do imagin its a pretty competitive field to be in around now.

well i have to say that to me, based strictly on veg pics, it looks like the cut shmoe and mysta have is the real chemdawg d. so maybe it was just a mix-up sent to beancounter.
we'll have to wait for flower pics to see for certain though...

its more noticable in mine too raskal, but i have one buddy that got my cuts to keep back-up moms and his arent as uneven as mine at all. i think the degree of the unevenness/ curvature is environmentally influenced.
