Alright so im in downeast Maine and im running the Chem Sister anybody ever grow her outside this far north? curious how she does... id like to try a few in the 200s but i dont want any mold problems thats my biggest concern around here.

Chem sister finish time outdoors in northeast?

mold resilience 1-10?

I'm pretty sure the sister take 10 weeks indoor I'm not sure how fast she would finish outdoors. I would think the Chemdawg D would be the faster finisher, then again she is a floppy bitch so I'm sure you would have to stake her up.I would like to know which would be the better choice for outdoors Iwas thinking about running some D this year.

Indoor sister goes 78, floppy stem, dripping in liquid resin. She'd be a nasty bitch OD! Stench would drift for miles holmes...

Never done an outdoor grow but she's one of those cuts that seems to be a mold magnet. I'd put her PM-resistance at -5. But she's such a killer smoke, I don't care. She won't be leaving my garden anytime soon.

Finish time would probably be early to mid October. I've been told ECSD is done around Halloween so working back from that I'd say mid-Oct, possibly first or second week. Indoors I take her at 63-65 days, love the headrush from her at that time and she's so damn tasty, from first hit right down to the roach.

in norcal she was ready end of oct last season. she was fairly sturdy for me... needed a bit of support but not nearly as floppy as other chems i've rocked. nice dense nugs even on the bottom branches. fairly mold resistant... lasted through some shite weather at the beginning of oct and did not loss much to botrytis. 19% thc. i know this description differs from what some other folks are saying, but i got cuts from two different sources last season and they both behaved thusly. i was glad she accounted for about 1/2 of all the ladies in the garden.

she included tickets with the letter, she wants me to see the show

PM-resistance at -5

i hear 78 makes something different...a sap trapper, sample @ 58 days and take it to the limit

i gave the sister to a friend around the way here in maui
it was a nice sized donor plant (it was 24" bush). he should be getting 3-4 z out of it in 7g
i think hes about 7 weeks in but hell probably be able to go 9 before its too much to risk humidity wise. if the weather is nice where he is he could go 10... but i wouldnt be surprised if it only goes 8 lol
makes no sense i know sorry

the sister is a nice plant with a very potent stone. not garlicy death like the d can be.
ive had it at 8 9 and 10 indoors. all kinda the same really not too much difference but i thought 9 was primo. some folks like more head with their high some like more body.... im a head guy lol. anyways....

a friend of mine made some beans with it using a reeferman nl male he found.
i think dank.frank grew out a few beans of the cross a year or two ago...

enjoy

plastochron, good to hear about your outdoor experience. I might've been a little hasty in calling out the Sister's mold issues, she doesn't rot or at least hasn't for me so I don't want to confuse anybody. She stacks buds in a way that I'd find it difficult to get her to rot but PM is a different story. Keep humidity in check and all should be well, tough task outside, of course.

Mr anderson, there's been some available. Tres Sister is probably the most well known commercially available, not sure if it still is. And a few months back Chefro had some of CHACO's Sister x Neville's up on the Bay.

I thought 63-65 was going to be early and I ended up loving her at that spot. There's a certain point where you can go too far and the flavor and high are substantially different, not in a good way either. But it's such a subjective thing you gotta do it yourself to know.

we tried chem d outdoors in western oregon where its humid, she didnt fare too well. chem sister wreaks bro there wont be anything guerilla about her smell

I would buy those if they were on the SF phillthy. I would love to grow something with the sister. I'm rocking some ill cuts from the chem/sour family right now but like everyone else I want more.
