Chem D Dud?

I got a cut of chem d from a buddy and rooted it but it’s been growing super slow, with super small leaves, and really tight nodes. Mostly 3 finger leaves but I got it to shoot a couple 5 fingers.. still small leaves tho. It seems like it might be “dudding“. Does anyone know what the best way to get her growing normal is? I’ve read chitosan oligo, or aspirin, or actinovate could help.. but if anyone has any advice I’d appreciate it.

She’s sitting in Michigan M3 Mix and I’ve fed Hera couple OG BioWar Teas, as well as sprayed her down with foliar of KNF Maintenance solution

If shes starting to throw 5 fingers things are going in the right direction.Shes started to convert back to veg.Sounds like ya got a cut out of the bloom room.
I personally would just let it reveg until you get enough 5 finger shoots to take cuttings and grow out healthy plants from jump street,but that's just me.if it's in a solo it wouldnt hurt to up pot it to give her some room to stretch her legs

I guess it’s possible, but I’ve revegged many plants before and it doesn’t seem to look like a revegging cut - but I guess it could be possible.. my buddy did say he took the snips from the Mom tho.

I can take some pictures when I get home, but you think it sounds like it’s dudding from my description? And how easy does it spread to other plants?

hey buddy...if she is a healthy green...i would take the biggest cut from it i could and root it...growing it out the second time may be better......it may carry the same problems...but if its real deal Chem D and you can't source another cut..thats what i would do...you are only out a few weeks of time...and a root plug...i have had one shoot a few balls...took cuts and its was fine from then on...stress treats them strangely...you never know under those freaky leaves might be a gem... if you can source another cut for sure, toss it...but if not I'd sure try it a 2nd time..DJXX

I’m gonna give it a shot, last night I took a bunch of small clones and today I think I’m gonna try and take the apical meristem and clone that, but I guess we’ll see if it clears it up

hey buddy I had the real Chem D cut for years and love love loved it...thats like the most legendary cut in the US and definitely worth many measures to save it... hey i didnt see what size container its in...i put a cut that was too small for a 3gal smartie and it acted similar ...and put it back in a 16 oz cup in two weeks its looked great.....DJXX

hey buddy I had the real Chem D cut for years and love love loved it...thats like the most legendary cut in the US and definitely worth many measures to save it... hey i didnt see what size container its in...i put a cut that was too small for a 3gal smartie and it acted similar ...and put it back in a 16 oz cup in two weeks its looked great.....DJXX

I have it in a 2 gal fabric pot right now, I’m not expecting GIGANTIC fan leaves in it, but it’s definitely got a lot smaller leaves than anything else. I mean it still is smelling super funky, idk if that’s an indicator I’m just being paranoid about the dudding

i am on the Michigan M3 Mix website...so its a peat and Spagnum loaded with organic goodies mix....I think the mix is really loaded up with organic nutrients bigtime...especially if it claims its good for the whole grow....and says u jus add water...maybe adding the Og Biowar and KNF folair may have had too much of something and stalled her...whats your water source...and its PH...did you check the PH of the M3...its a factory created item and there are sometimes inconsistencies....bet it probably fine...if the leaf tips arent burnt, then everything you are doing is probably ok...the roots just need to establish better and it will probably take off great...another thought i had ..when i was using Fox Farm mediums...I always put the seedlings and younger stuff in Light Warrior instead of Ocean Forest, cause Ocean Forest was so much hotter and was loaded with goodies like your M3....bet in two weeks its looks more to ur liking...DJXX

I haven’t PH’d my water or the medium, I just use water from the tap but I bubble to clear it of chlorine.. I have had this cut for a couple months now. I really do hope it starts to get healthy soon and it’s not dudded
