Check out my ballast mount

I needed to cram as many ballasts as I could get into a 12" x 12" x 20" space (ventilated of course) and so I came up with these Dual Lumatek 600s mounted into a pair of custom welded aluminum frames.

That's eight 600 watters you are looking at:

They are exposed on all 4 sides, but I'll stick a fan on one end anyway.

Very nice! It sure is clean looking. Perfect orientation for cooling with a little airflow. I wish I had a TIG welder....

Looks nice be careful though as they say to mount them six inches away from each other this is to prevent them from getting to hot and having the epoxy melt out from the case. looks good id just keep and eye out for any odd puddles of epoxy.

I second the fan idea, would make it look even more bad ass, would not need much a couple pc fans, one on each end.
