Cheapest way to make rooting media for micropropagation?

So lets say I wanna micropropigate 20,000 clones. The rooting mix microclone.com sells is $15 for what produces 1 liter of media. Even if I only use 2ml of media per test tube that's $600 worth of media, not including the cost of the test tubes.

How do I mix my own rooting media? I don't even want to mix it with agar I just want the liquid solution. If it's just liquid its easier to clean between cloning runs.

With the cost of quality seed at $1/e or lower I gotta get the cost of micropropagation as low as possible since the labor is high compared to starting seeds.

I understand the value of propagating a selected cut though, especially when I get to pick a blockbuster cultivar from a multi-thousand plant hunt.

sounds like you need aeroponic cloners

Why would you want to micropropigate 20k clones?
for a non profit pheno hunt of course
um I almost forgot there only gon be one pheno when your talking "clone"
unless you use a mutagen chemical

power cloner bro,
just run it again and again

simple? and cheap

how many cuttings in each hole?

The most expensive thing your gonna have is labware and media recipes
agar is expensive no way around it.

Micro aeroponics and cloning just gonna use nutes at 1/4 strength or
Murashige and Skoog medium and Hoagland solution, important plant growth media
Long Ashton Nutrient Solution

use baby food jars from recycle centers free
with lid filter material tyvek post office envelopes
and your liquid broth or agar media
healthily follow your dreams dont be discouraged by negativity

I have an adult use cultivation license in the state of New York. In vitro cloning is 4x faster than traditional cloning. Market advantage in an early stage legal state like NY. Tissue culturing is pretty much a mandatory skill these days for commercial cannabis farms.

I guess I should have specified that I’m doing seed runs now that I’m going to pick cultivars from then in vitro propagate them. To propagate all 20,000 clones at once with those 150 site home-made aero cloners I would need 120 of them. I would need ten of them just to fill one greenhouse at a time. In vitro propagation takes up a fraction of the space and electricity of traditional cloning.

I'm not following. How much year round square footage thats actually ready to go? What 20k plants grow into in a very short amount of time is fucking huge. What your talking about doesn't seem feasible. Also cali and colorado packs are everywhere. I'm in a legal state and bud from out west is being sold here in rec and medical outlets. Growing here is hardly worth it you can buy fire grower direct for 120 a ounce or less.

I may be getting confused about the photographs above, but this location appears to be somewhere tropical like Jamaica, meaning of course that growing there is NOT affected by market prices in the USA

I use a similar setup it's just basically a huge cube with small little square holes in it or round holes and I either make soil cubes or round soil plugs out of the medium that I use up here works well
