Cheapest tent EVER!!

But by no means the best at all lol. Came across a 2.4 x 1.2 x 2m tent on egay (UK site), listing number is 251467421706

Fair enough it's made in china, but still... How the bloody hell can they make money on it at that price?!! Looks to be of fairly shoddy quality and the description looks like it's been put through a translator perhaps.

I'm thinking of taking a punt just to see what the craic is lol, hardly a loss if it does turn out to be a complete pile of

Ingredients: 600 * 600D (D indicates the weight per unit length of the thread, 600D fabric relative to the more solid the more durable 210D)

Iron pipe size: D16mm * T0.8mm

Connection angle: iron tee, plastic tee

The main raw materials are aluminum foil, aluminum composite fabric, laser film composite woven, UV protection, sunscreen, heat, beautiful, fast-growing plants, easy to place and easy to carry.

Price is 30GBP and free P+P. Not sure what import tax/duty or whatever would cost though, never ordered internationally. They've also got a 3 x 1.5 x 2m tent for 40 quid and a couple smaller ones for peanuts!

That's my main concern Coconutz is the whole gassing thing, no idea how one would check that before actually putting it to the test though?

im 99% sure an irish growshop were selling these at 140, feel better now about not buying. @ 30 though its very tempting, even if it had more holes than a sieve a spare set of poles could come in handy.

Blimey, sounds like you dodged a bullet there for sure! That's it mate, at that price if it does turn out to be shite I'm sure it can be recycled for something else.......

Just had a quick look at import tax and the (recommended) site I used reckon 36 pounds, but that was for having the item down as a grow tent, the seller has it listed under Men's clothes i think, possibly to lower the import tax on it as I think their is a discount on clothes or they are even exempt. Not too sure. But either way, that import tax quote was for up North of you VonBudi can't see it being much if any difference.

Really am tempted to take a crack at it, apparently the tents that are so famed for gassing had some sort of white lining in the floor tray that gave off a gas along with the pvc poles. This would appear to have neither. If it works then great, got myself another 2.4x1.2 tent... which I'm planning on buying another one anyway in a couple of weeks so could potentially save a lot of money on this!!

It is like those tiny microscopes..Buy them in a Growshop and pay about 10-15€, or buy some from Hongkong for 1,50€ incl. shipping!
