Just got my 2 eur ph meter from notebay and after 5 mins gave it to some kids playing in the driveway. Thing said that my soil can melt time itself and that i have been showering with military grade acid for like 4 years.

So, cheap and reliable ph meter, please. Brands links etc ... all is welcome.

I prefer drops also. I use those from aquarium stores. Smaller range but accurate to 0.1.

ebay digi probe think there made in NZ same as an aquarium digi temp meter but does PH 2 or 4 ph to 12 for around 5$us or 9aus and they read non stop.. Im guessing youd waNt a known brand with fresh calibration for the best readings or double check test weekly..

6 in 1 meters that read multi ph probes /ec/temp/time/ and more are cheeper than a ph and an ec pen together Imo worth looking at but buy a spare Ph probe at purchase in 12 months it will need a good clean/ regel or simply a new probe and you may not find one for your unit although they all seem to use very simular probes differing digi reading units..

Ok these are alittle more expensive now dont know why!

Nutriculture who sell the NFT systems run by 50% of UK growers sell replacements for the white Dye bottles you get in the NFT kits... 6.0 - 7.2 range lets you really get it accurate.. for 5.8 I get it down to 6 then add a bit more... worked fine for years, not bought/binned a pH meter for years.

Interesting. First mention of this brand I have seen here. I have a hanna combo, and bought a EXtech PH110 as a BU. This version has a refiliable PH probe. To date I have had no issues, and have yet to refill it. The probe is also replacable should that need arrise. I think I gave up 95 bone plus some extra for teh refil kit.

Regards
