Well first of all thanks again to my buddy skar, who has grown it in the perfect way, and to Mendocino who have bred it...
I'll try to be the more specific i can...

So then a little description, frome a post of Skar, which are were the pics come from...

This strain is made up of a Power plant, afghan, or WhiteWidow female and the male used was unknown. Pretty good surprise the plants grow strong with a definately indica patern and a pugent / acrid smell, so i guess the hitted female was the afghani. The resin production is very good and the flowering time is around 50/55 days so again with the look, the smell and the flower time the afghani look to be the best guess (?).

So the sample i got was dried with "Mendocino style", as i explained to skar that the best way to smoke chateauneuf was dried quick, about 5 days in front of a fan, and it's at is best...
I ld say that Mendocino you re totally right about that, it should really be smoked that way, even if you ve got the time, the taste seems at its best..
So..... ! What is the taste... It's not fruity, no way, but really acid, probably the curing style, but it's cool... First of all you think that well, it's not too bad, and then you feel it ... You juste need to deal with it, and after 3 puffs you ll love it. Acid is the word, kinda taste you would expect from some landraces sativa, weird but i'm a fan...
Well it's really hardly potent to... This is like a mixed high/stone, you feel tired, but your brain is working great... Had some time during the high laughs that came from nowhere, really a big high, but you can't move... It made me be really in a good mood and mind, like " dans les nuages" as french people used to describe it, that's mean you really are in your world made of your thoughts, and tgat thoughts are only good and positives ones...
To conclude, in term of potency this pheno is really a keeper, and i would call it the positive vibration pheno :rasta: The smell is very different from standard weed ( widow, skunk, nl, afghani ), but very interesting, and a must -taste...

Thanks Skar for this sample, you're the man ! (again :joint: )
Mendocino all the best for your ch9 crossed, the name's great ( chateauneuf is a french town known for the great wine they produce, one of the best in france !), so is the strain, you won't have any problem to convince people to grow it...

I tried to explain all i wanted too, but my english still bad.. Sorry :bashhead:

you rock my man ! thanks to take the time to make some reports that's cool.

yes mendocino have is own method to dry his buds and as it's a strain from him i sayed to myself that i should have to try this and it's done.

i thinked that the chlorophyl taste would be strong and not good, but the citrus/acrid smell & taste make the bigger part of the things and it's a good surprise. Very fresh smoke, a pleasure for the morning.
I have some buds that i have dried with my method and who are in jars as i type, just to see the potential of this strain with a good cure.

We will add more later on this strain, and on the Chateauneuf x jack that i'm going to start indoor...

thanks again titoon

Fresh smoke for sure, the way you describe the taste is really cool, i totally agree !
In the morning, it's kept me in my bed for two hours without doing anything, so too strong for me in the morning ;-)
:muahaha:

Titoon29,Skar,

Thank you guys, nice smoke report,I really appreciate it.I just found the thread, but I am not so late as I can see....the ch9 feminised are more potent, more musky, and surely, more thc the way I flowered them with phosphore only after week 3-4...they do have an haze taste after week 3 of natural curing in a jar...but very musky at first.

Hey Mendocino, great to see ya there !A friend of mine got two seeds of ch9 aroma, he'll try them soon...
is there a few hermies in your feminized seed line, and if so when should we expect to recognize them ? My friend is a little paranoid about hermies ^^

I got so much strains growing that it'll be difficult to had ch9 now, but in a few months, or in outdoor....

Titoon,
the way these seeds were made using 4-5 feminised pollen,is extremly secure in term of gender, the plant will stay female even during heavy stress.so your friend can grow them with confidence....

100 plants were stressed to hell, half burned, half nude .,none has turned herma...from a tester and myself. We indeed tested and stressed 300 plants and we dispatched 1200 seeds with no complains of herma.
