charged with 3 felonies in Michigan this weekend.

Sorry to here about this.. Look into how your state determines the plants.. My state doesn't care about plant count.. It's weight.. Threw all my veg plants and clones out because there wasn't any amont of usable cannabis.. Probably drop the clones and hit you with the gun charge..

If you go to prison, state/county has to clothe you, house you, feed you and give you medical attn. This is a lot of money.
If you hold out to last minute, you most likely will receive probation, which you have to pay for, drug classes, which you pay for, etc. etc. Now you are an income for them. Which one do you think they want ? An income, or a liability they have to pay for.
But, like I mentioned, it depends on your past record.

You should have whipped up a quick salad out of the clones....I try to never carry more with me in a car than I am willing to eat should the need arise.
Carrying weapons and cannabis across state lines is never intelligent.
Hopefully the OP wasn't growing at home. I would bet the Indiana State Police were informed of the matter.

The laws here in MI are fucked. The dicks that enforce them are all about seizures, they want cash, cars, and other property. If the clones were rooted, they'll treat them all like plants, and try to make the manufacturing charge stick. But not all prosecutors care which is a plus.
A good lawyer can get them to reduce them most of the time, provided you weren't drunk, high, or a total ass to the cops at the time of arrest. For some reason, they are extra pissy about that.
Being from out of state is not in your favor. I know you didn't want to hear that. But it's not the end of the world either. Keep that lawyer happy by paying him right, and do what he says.

Your weapons charge has completely fucked you ;\ No one should ever be carrying a weapon when crossing state lines or driving on a federal highway unless you have consulted with a lawyer and memorized every law federal and local....If you were on the interstate you are screwed as everything is federal and you are going to be doing prison time. I believe your charge is a min of 5 years for the weapon a lone. It is also probably a mandatory minimum like most things now since the government doesn't like judges being able to use their judgment. Your also looking at few years for the drug charges. Unbelievable to me people take this risk when you can just buy seeds to be delivered to your door.

I was at a interdiction cops house few years back and he does nothing but this shit and he got a call on the phone about a case he had and the guy was looking at felony firearm charges for a pistol he had in his car and he was an ex felon. The guy had already sat in jail for 2 fuckin years and they hadn't even had a trial yet. Insane what they can do that is totally against the constitution...
Guys if you are going to break laws really educate yourself on them beforehand so you don't wind up in situations like this. This is just awful and over something that should not even be illegal.

I have a previous weapons charge, but I was never indicted by a grand jury on that charge.
During a raid on a grow... I had two assault weapons that I was also charged with posessing during a drug offense.
However, the grand jury did not indict me on the weapons charge as I had not been agressive, nor did I attempt to access or touch the weapons when raided.
You can charge someone for anything... but that doesn't mean the indictment will stick. I was saved from an additional Class 4 felony.
Basically they said it was just a proximity issue and wasn't charged on that count.
Just FYI, there is hope. Luckily that wasn't YOUR gun.

Yeah but did you have dope trout? Guns and dope don't mix.and yes its true charges get lowered but did anybody realize its also trafficking to have twenty dope plants across state and county lines?this shit isn't a joke.this was a different state but I was locked up with a guy that got a 100 thousand fine for trafficking 20 pounds I think it was.and five years do two.without a gun.and no priors.this was five years ago but its true.stay safe people and don't carry guns with dope unless you know your gonna need it

If you have one of "the best" lawyers, he would have detailed insight of how local law is usually carried out, why don't you ask him what you are facing instead of a lot of hearsay from different parts of the globe in a public forum?
But if it is your first offense and you have a free world attorney, you'll get felony probabtion probably for 4-6 years.... If your attorney is court appointed, you'll be out in 3-5 with good behavior.
And just a side note of my own opinion... REALLY???YOU CARRY A GUN WITH YOU TO GET ILLEGAL CLONES?????
DUMBASS. STOP CARRYING GUNS.... and "I didn't know" is no excuse. Take some damn responsibility for yourself and your surroundings. If you are driving to get clones....KNOW WHAT IS IN THE CAR WITH YOU.
