changing utility bill name

the utilitys at my place are currently under my name but i want to change that asap. can i just make up a fake name or is there somehow the utility company would know. lookin for some ideas

What type of info did they need to put it in your name? Most likely not much right?

not much but i take my car to the grow store every once in a while. don't wanna take any risks of being tracked back to that address. i have a different address then the house but the like i said the utility bill is under my name

change it.. If you run into problems just say your now renting the property to a tennant and you want the bill in their name.

depends on your electric company and their policies, I know quiet a few utility companies don't ask for much in the way of personal info ie. no ssn, no dob. I personally think this is a good idea
