Changing the day night cycle time.

Hi all.

My girls are about 30 days into flower and all is fine in the world. problem is that i need to change the time my lights come on and don’t know best way to do it, currently they are on around 9pm ish, i need to shift this back to 6pm ish.
Any hints on avoiding stress? Is it better to do it gradually or just cut short the light cycle one time?

Help always gratefully received.

Cheers

Gradually changing it back would probably be the best way to do it, but if you were to just change it back to 6, It wouldn't cause too much harm.

yep...just shorten 1 light cycle (if u wanna turn them on at 6pm tomorrow then shut them off at 6 am today)...dont do this all the time.

It "generally" ok to adjust the light schedule by manipulating the time when they are ON...just make sure they are gettin at least a solid 12 hr DARK period...longer dark is OK.

You can just go dark at 6 for 12 hours instead of 9. one shorter day of light is not going to stress them hardly at all.

yeah cuz if you think about it...they exist in nature and nature has cloudy days. They're not gonna get full light exposure 12/12 in nature. i'm sure they'll be able to progress as long as the light switch doesn't change the amount of time they're 'exposed' to light, not when they're exposed to it.
