Changing light schedule in 12/12?

Hey guys, i need to change the light schedule for my girls. They are now bout 3.5 weeks into flowering, and lights come on at midnight and off at noon. Since i have a 9 to 5 job now, i cant be there to close doors etc for lightproofing, so i need to change them to lights on at 8.30pm and off at 8.30am... I was wandering what way was the best to change this without stressin them too much, id be well pissed off if they hermied on me now... should i gradually take them back (1hour/day), or flip them straight away (which would mean they only get 8.5 hours dark), or leave them in darkness from lights off at noon till 8.30pm the next day (32.5 hours dark)? What do you think?
Thanks for your help,

Peace

Just go ahead and do your new scheduale. Its when you are constantly changing things around that you can hermie them. They wont even notice it....

hey toka. ^-- like what everyone says, itll be ok. like 3 weeks ago in my area there was a daylight savings thingy which deleted 1 hour from my time and i couldnt figure out what to do. i ended doing somethin from 12/12 to 11/11:30 to 13:11 lol
