Changing light schedule 3 weeks into flowering?

Alright guys, I have a question. Will I cause my plants to go hermie or hurt them anyway if I have to give them a 24hr dark period to alter my light schedule to 8pm-8am instead of 8am-8pm? They are 3 weeks (23 days approx.) into flowering and already have plenty of bud development going on

It will be easier and cheaper for me to keep my room cool if I can change the schedule

A one time glitch does no harm. I screw up the lights 2-3 times a grow. Not on purpose, life just happens.

I wait for lights to come on and pull the ON pin from the timer. Any time after their reg night's sleep, pick a new sunrise, open the cab, turn on the light, reset the pins. Done.

I agree ^^

I have not witnessed any problems when extending the dark period in order to adjust the light schedule. No worries! :)
