Changing ICMag's Template - Testers Needed

We will soon be switching ICMag to its mobile template. I expect there will be some issues for some people.

So you're welcome to test out our mobile site by clicking on the upper right of this (or any) page where it says "you are viewing our Full Site" and change it to "Mobile site".

Let me know of any issues you have with it, either here or via PM. Tell me if the issue is on a mobile device or a laptop/desktop.

Just beware it's not perfect, but it does work. We'll try to fix any bugs you find.

Thanks for helping out!

switched to mobile site. using phone 5S iOS 8.3 viewing via portrait view, the forum takes up half of screen of the iPhone and does not let's say automatically fit to screen.

oh gee new message board software!

please don't mess up the site. I know the board is ancient software but it works. Please dont be the new style message board where all the avatar images get broken and they have that lame default view where u cant see the # of pages in a post

ok good luck

I really like it. Seems great to me, no bugs seen.

What I reeeealy want though (and have always wanted here) is a way to filter out all of the subforums I don't read. It is a daily annoyance. I will never be reading any of the foreign language subs; why can't I just set a preference somewhere to filter them out?

Every time I click 'new posts', 80% of what I see is not what I am interested in. Another way of approaching it might be to somehow let us select only the subforums we actually want to see in 'new' and then save those preferences...

That would vastly improve this web site. Any chance of this happening?

I can't give rep/karma on mobile, just desktop. And even then when I do try to give it it closes before you can type.

If you're using a desktop, you can resize the forums in the mobile template to any size you like and it'll still look decent. In fact, it looks better since the mobile is designed for smaller screens... and it's much faster to load.

So you can have other programs open too (like email, chat, etc.). ICmag won't take up so much screen space if you don't want it to be so big.

I can't give rep/karma on mobile, just desktop. And even then when I do try to give it it closes before you can type.

I have had this on Android for a while, one hackaround is to write the rep message in the thread quick reply box, select all, cut... >> Add rep, paste.

For whatever reason I can paste in there but cannot type.

View Image Windows phone 8.1 - the desktop site renders perfectly, mobile one does as in the screenshot
Thanks for the picture. It looks like you're using the Metro Interface, and not another web browser, yes? Is it better now? Does it work in a web browser like firefox?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what I can do to fix it.

Anyone else having probs on other platforms? A pic is worth a thousand words. :)
