Changing food half way

Hi.

I am taking over someone else's grow in soil.
The person didn't have a set regiment and used flora nova bloom as base.
The plants are in 2 MD week in bloom.
I want to switch them to what I know. I want to at least start giving them house and garden soil a and b, and some pk booster.
What do you guys think about switching half way?
Also, I am a coco guy but have to finish this run in soil. Is there a nutrient that I ABSOLUTLEY have to add with a and b?
Plants seems to do ok so far.

careful when switching nutes like this, i'd recomend flushing the soil first, if you you are going to change the current nutes to your preference. i'd just let plant/s finish w what they are liking now. if they are healthy now, why risk potential nute issues popping up before they're done. soil holds nutes for weeks, unlike coco that acts like rockwool medium.

Thank you. That makes sense. I can't really continue because I don't know what exactly he used and how much.

Would it be safe to just continue with the base he used (flora nova) and pk boost on top?
It would be enough for coco to have a decent harvest. Not sure about the soil

Also, if soil keeps nutes for a while, would it be wise to add a dose of pk booster only once a week and not every feeding.

yes, sounds right, the soil holds nutes, so i wouldn't use full strength flora. the ph isn't critical for soil compared to coco coir needs.

yes thats fine, not needed every feeding, i dont have to worry about ph, it's all about whats in the soil used. 2 weeks before harvest, feed straight water, or, when you see cloudy trichomes start to appear, i'd just feed plain water. you'll be fine. can u post a pic of the buds? that would help a lot.

Do the plants look good??? Or is sumthing wrong with them I wouldn't change nutes mid flower.... Especially if things look nice don't fuck with it.. Noway to no what it soils doin and how it would react... Maybe fine may react bad.. Not worth finding out... Just a bad idea. Specially when it sounds like u really just wanna get this run done to start over id change/do as little as possible now ... Flora nova grows dank ass shit to... And plants are diggin it keep givin them what they want... Change nutes when u start... H&g ain't as great as ppl say and for larger ops over priced as a mofo... not that it does bad I just don't use it Nomore...

Stoney. Everything you say makes sense.
It's just like I said, I am not sure what was given to the plants before me.
There are tons of different bottles on the shelf and to tell what was fed is impossible.
The owner knows it had flora nova as the base.

The plants were actually in a really bad shape when I found them. Crawling with armies of spider mites who already started building their colonies in reflectors.
Last two weeks was pure hell for me. And there is a lot of plants.
I had to prune them, lollipop them as the colas grew above the lamps, and weaken the mites to where they retreated to the basics. There are pictures in my older posts if you want to see.
Now, emergency work is over. Similarities to what I would do in coco is finished too.
I have never grew in pure soil... And I just have bottles of stuff on the shelves.

I will just give them flora nova, pk boost, silica, some CalMag. And leave it at that. If flower will start showing something odd, I will bring the pictures for your judgement and try to fix it that way.

Id go a wk early not longer...If i were u id start flush now get them the fuck outta there... soil requires a longer flush then coco... as far along as u are i may givem pk boost once or twice n thats it calmag n silica should be gettin cut off by now n u dont want nemore n added... pk boost, good flush choppem down gettem out... id want them out of my room asap.. .no matter what u did mid flower bout mites they will be back with a vengeance in a minute... i then address the mites lots of stuff but if they r in ya lights u got ur work cut out a total breakdown n cleaning would be done.... lots of approaches ... after chop run ur lights in the empty room let it get as hot as possible to cook them then bring out the nukes spray n wipe everything few bug bombs and when ur done using nukes n cleaning another 140deg heatwave for a few hrs a few days n u should be good... and preventive measures must be takin in veg ....eggs could be newhere n everywhere... floramite avid forbid use a 3 3 days apart...

The thing is that I have 2 more rooms there with much younger bloomers.
I have to continue.

I use everything under the sun to keep mites back from the Nugs. But they travel from room to room as we do.
This is such an experience.

If shit is that bad.... theres a time when u need to decide to make oil n cut ur losses n start clean... if u pulled 8 today the problem aint gonna get better i see 8 more morro n 8 more the next day... shit is to big to fight with a shop vac... u sound like multiple rooms r infected bad ... u need to shut down or it will never ever go away .. cant cure aids once ya got it... u can prevent it with a condom....ruff. truth is u got it... n only one way to get rid of it...it will pay off in the future... on another not its not recommended but i know a bunch of cash croppers who spray there shit with all the toxins during flower... u may have to take that approach,.... just dont u smoke any...
