Hey guys,
I am in a bit of a pickle at the moment. Currently have about 20 seedlings just moved to 3.5" pots from root cubes. They are in the closet at the moment (pic to come... only because im proud of the temporary home ive built for them). Anyways.. the urgency is real, and yes I should have had this squared away prior to starting..
Our location in the residence is now changing, and again, I am downsizing tents, and increasing quantity. The goal is to maintain the 32 sq ft and ~2000W, just divided into 4. So 4, 4x2 tents all in a line within a narrow 5'x20' room.
Since I will now be able to vent directly out of the house, I am thinking 600W air cooled should be just fine, and add the bonus of venting that hot are out into the house during colder months, saving some money on gas.
Plan is:
4 - 4x2 tents (one for veg and a few moms)
3 - 600 HPS setups (eventually moving to LEDs, hopefully by summer i'll get at least one phased in)
1 - fluoro/led/whatever veg light (right now diy CFL/LED bulb fixture)
5 - 6" hyper fans (one for exhausting the ac reflectors)
4 - 6" Phresh filters
Have pretty much everything else for the organic grow, and the new room is under construction and should be completed within 2 weeks. We will be getting the first 4x2 by next week as I think I am going to be out of space soon.
Curious as to how you would go about venting 4 tents in a line. Was thinking of using some Y's and consolidating into one vent out of the residence.
The 6" fans should be plenty... probably overkill, but id like to run them as low as possible and be able to turn up as needed (late bloom, temp issues, etc).
Have not seen to many people bloom in 4x2's, so not sure what to expect, potential limitation, other than the obvious halving of the space. Not sure if the narrowness will affect yield? Plan to run 5-6 plants
Any advice, critique, even negative, is very welcome. Especially negative! That's what made me dump the original plan, which has already given me peace of mind.
