CH9's Jack

Actually it is much more sativa IMO. The leaves are long and narrow and the plant is "branchy" with chunky buds all over rather than fewer massive colas.

The smell is hard to describe. Peppery, spicey with a solvent like smell. It is very unique to me. It doesnt smell fruity or skunky.

The calyxes are huge and trichomes cover the buds halfway down the sugar leaves. You can see what looks like fur on the leaves. These are all fat capped trichomes. Looking forward to a proper sample.

Real nice RonSmooth.

I was sitting here in awe thinking about such a fast flowering haze, thinking these were a rendition of Jack Herer. Then I looked them up and realized they have quite the lineage Jack Herer x Ed Rosenthal Super Bud / Hash Plant / CH9 /. That hashplant must really bring out the resin, that thing is super frosty.

I am actually thinking that she may not be all Jack. I think this seed was a result of a blue rhino plant that threw male flowers later in flowering pollinating the Jack. This new hybrid smells like Blue Rhino more than Jack. The BR was earthy, spicy, incense & solvent smelling. Her "mother" Jack was very fruity smelling and light green.

This one is very purple, smells more like the Blue Rhino and unfortunately, throws out male flowers late in flowering. More like BR in that regard but more like Jack in the growth structure. The BR also goes 10 weeks easy and the Jack was closer to 8.

It is a great plant and I am going to keep her. Just wouldnt use it to breed or make seeds.

I should add...

The Blue Rhino is Blueberry X White Rhino
