CH9 FG-13 Smoke Report

I've given this little lady enough time to show me what she's about so I think it's time to share.

Ratings (1-10 scale)

Look: 6
Scent: 7
Taste: 7
High: 7.5

Smoke Details

I rated the smell and taste so highly because, I admit it folks, I like pineapples. She gave off a strong, undisguisable citrus smell with a hint of sweeter fruitiness, and this really came out in the smoke. She didn't look bad, but her coloring was green/yellow/etc and nothing terribly remarkable.

Now the high. That was something else. It wandered in slowly and got settled before it got to work. Then the upward-climb started out of nowhere and didn't stop for a while. Heart rate increased slightly and as long as I was moving around I had loads of energy and social drive. Then somebody said the word "booger" and I laughed myself sick for about an hour.

The buzz is sustainable for several hours with no hunger cravings and only slight dry mouth. I get fixated on seeing my collection of artwork through new eyes, and don't get me started on what this pheno does to Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk. When it dissipates it deposits me rather gently to where I was before. I give the high a 7.5 rating because, let's face, it I've been higher, but this high was a very enjoyable, functional high that's perfect for daytime.

All in all a great pheno from a strain that might need some work with germination rates (see below), but I will definitely enjoy the rest of this stash and grow more given the great yield.

Grow Details

Of the entire pack of these I picked up from Seedbay only one germed. I wasn't happy about that, but the one that did spring forth last June was a bright, energetic Sativa-dominant girlie who could NOT get enough of the indoor space she was given.

Grown in FFOF, watered with pH-corrected distilled water (stupid grocery store crap) between feedings of Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom given in *lower* strength than suggested during veg, and at the listed strength during flower. Light was a 500W HPS.

Lots of branching and a median spacing between internodes. I flowered her earlier than I expected (after only 35 days of veg) to due to rate of growth after which she *really* exploded upwards, in fact I had to retroactively train her around a few sticks after flowering to preserve headspace - the light was cranked all the way on the ceiling and she was getting too close.

Harvested after 8 weeks of flower when 80% of trichs were 100% cloudy but before any amber was detected. She produced more than the advertised yield, 114 grams total after drying and 2.5 months curing in jars.
