Hey Satghost

ya.. was about to ask. How much did you pay? I am busy trying to enquire at the moment. On the eurolux site , it comes with a whole bay.

Can you use that light on a normal fitting or do you need control gear like with HIDS?

hey Hotc and Mic, they're R136 per lamp where i get them.
they're self-ballasted CFL's so there's no gear except for the lampholder, but i'm cheap so i just solder the wires onto the base.

phew... that is quite pricy for flouro. But guess its all in one.

how much you got under one of these guys? I wanna run 3 bonsai mothers (under one ) and then my cuttings under another. Think it will " make the grade"?

Wow, I didn't know CFL comes in such high wattages. if you pack enough of these 125s in a cab, can you get a decent grow room going?

It would do wonders for my heat problem... :chin:

Mic: 2 should be fine for a mother and clones.

hotc: wattage and colour temp?

getafix: the most efficient way to use cfls is vertically between your plants/cuttings, reflectors don't do them much justice.

I've seen a auzzie on this site Tim-Tim with one amazing grow set-up. He hangs several vertical CFLs between his plants...

Hi, I got this 45watt Eurolux CFL for R60. It's pretty huge and flippin' bright! Gonna use it in a stealth PC case to keep some mom plants.

Peace
