Does anyone know of a site to purchase high wattage CFL's? The highest watt in a coil type cfl i've seen was 105w. Am looking really for 200w and higher. Thx

If you use multiple lower wattage lights you can get a more even light distribution and often times you can get it for a lower total cost. Common sized lights are very cheap, ones that are hard to find usually cost much more.

Thats a good point, lower cost, more evenly distributed.... Maybe standard cheap-o 2ft flouro's would work better for my cab, plus they are really cheap at $4.99ea.
9-2ft. flouros x13watts each, 117watts of flouro light for lower growth.

You may want to also consider what temperature of CFL to get, depending on whether you will be flowering or vegging.

For vegging, daylight is the best spectrum, followed by cool white.

For flower, a combination of spectrum or the warmer CFLs are usually used.

Just something else to think about as it may hinder/enhance your search.

I think you will find that the 300 watts is equivalent in incandescent wattage. The actual wattage of the light will be ~65w.
The price should clue you in that you are NOT getting a 300watt CFL.

*EDIT
You know, those large CFL's like the one from Lowes, are a big throw of money IMO. Smaller bulbs are far more efficient for the money.
The 26watt bulb is probably the best bang for the buck. Gain the desired wattage in multiples of the 26's will be cheaper per lumen than doing it with fewer big bulbs. And you have a better choice of spectrum with the smaller bulbs as well.

As far as what they are in actual watts, all the ones you go to Lowes or whatever are not the actual wattage it says,125,200 even the 28's..I use these for Veg on small clones and Mothers.I budded with them once for the hell of it and it came out nice. But to compliment a small HPS they work fine.Ive tryed all the CFL's and the grow CFL's like the ones that come in the Procducer for the Moms. Its not in the range of those ones($59 or $69) but as far as others it works nicely, and runs cool so you can pretty much touch these to the plant getting everything, imo. These were all grown under 3 of these 300's(only time anything was flowered in this Cab),now they are only for Mothers and clones right after they get there roots..

Multiple lights mean multiple cleats. You'll want to wire them in parallel rather than series.
