Cfl Lighting question

I have a stealth hydro 420w cfl setup, I really jus wanna know if it matters what direction they are used? I mean, can I use them vertically, rather than just horizontally? If anyone knows let me know thanks everyone.

I have used cfl's in all positions, so I don't really think that it matters, but still I would like some feedback.

from what I've read so far...it's better to use them vertically due to penetration of the cfl's
and from what I've seen in different grow diaries the use of a v-scrog seems to work quite well...

But I think instead of using 420w cfl...you should consider maybe to switch to 400w Hps...less wattage for a better harvest...

Well I was asking cuz I wanted to put this setup w/o reflector, between my two 400w cmh air cooled bulbs. This would work very well if I can slide the 420w in between them, I can, I wanna If I can? Not should I, but is it able to be hung other than horizontal?
See if I can put this in there too, I'll have about 75,000 lumens, and about 1220w in a small area only 2ftx6ft, you do the math. I'm tired, I know it's more than what I have now.

So I doesn't matter which way I hang em then... That's all want to know, besides this only for supplemental purposes.

They are SH 4 bulb setup( 105w bulbs ). I jus wanted to know if I can hang them whatever direction I wanted, it won't affect the bulb, like some kind of malfunction. I want to hang them with the screw part facing the ceiling. Is there any " physical " issues with doing this?
