Well Hello IC forum, This is my grow. This is my first indoor grow, i have been an aid and helper for others in the past but never had the space for my own... Until now!!!

In the veg. area there is 3 lights ( possibly adding a 4th ) The fresh cuttings are placed in a rooting hormone for about 10 sec. each then into either rockwool or soilless medium. The clones are kept under 24/0 light, and misted every few hours. The rooted clones are kept in the same area minus the misting and dome.

The Bloom box, is a chest of drawers bought from a second hand store. There are 6/ 23 w bulbs, in a 36 x 16 x 36 space. There is an intake and outtake fans, they are both adjustable. The plants were cut down about 6 in, then placed back in box under chicken wire to produced a more even spread out growth.

Where are your pics? It sounds like you know what you are doing. But pics would help! (EDIT: I looked at your Gallery, and they look very good! Keep it up, and keep us UPDATED!)

A perpetual garden would be the ideal setup. I do not have the clone capacity for that at the moment. I am estimating that once this group has bloomed i will be able to build another box of some sorts and start the perpetual.

The perpetual grow is an idea i have been thinking about even since i visited a lettuce growers greenhouse and witnessed the way they use perpetual grow to always have fresh lettuce everyday.

Seeing this i knew there was a way to grow cannabis in a perpetual sort of fashion. That was my goal ever since i started my indoor grow. Seeing Dr.Buds thread just proved to me that it can be done and on a small scale.

If my grow looks similar to his, is because that would probably the most efficient setup. His system is perfected though mine is just beginning, so that leave sme with all sorts of experiments!!

The least expensive and perhaps simplest given the required items is the milk jug and yeast solution. Put about five or six cups of sugar in a clean one-gallon plastic jug. To this add about a half gallon of water. Mix until the sugar is dissolved and add a little bit of active yeast. Poke a small hole in the lid and replace it on top of the jug.

Once a day, or as often as possible, shake the jug to thoroughly mix the contents. In a day or two the yeast will begin to grow and CO2 gas will be a by-product in the jug. Once the yeast begins to grow, the shaking of the contents will produce a gaseous eruption through the hole in the lid. On its own, the device will slowly produce CO2 as long as there is enough sugar in the mix and the yeast stays active. The daily shaking stimulates the mix to produce a surge of CO2 gas. Therefore, the more times the jug is shaken, the more surges of CO2 that will erupt into the room. The mix will need to be changed or refreshed every two to three weeks.
This system should be more than adequate and perfectly safe for smaller grow spaces (twenty square feet or less). It is also very inexpensive to configure and maintain. This method is actually a very crude method of alcohol production as well, so other economies of colocation may be accomplished with regard to homebrewing.

I am considering cutting holes in the bottom of the box and adding 2 or 3 of these jugs to the grow and see how it works. Since`i haven't spent more than $50 on everything i figure i might as well try this method and keep the grow low cost high yield!!

After 1 week!!

After 1 week!!

These are from a few days ago, one week after they were cut down and put into bloom. I have not found time to add in the CO2 and from the way they are growing i am not sure i need to...




It seems to be filling in well. Am i supposed to thin the leaves or just let them grow??




This is just how the lights are macgyvered up.

Any suggestions and input are still always welcome :joint:
