Ceilings too low for gavitas?

Hey all. Noob here building my first room and wanted some advice. The flower room has a very low ceiling at 6'8". To my understanding, gavitas are real intense, so you want ~3 feet of room in between the plant tops and the bulb. I was thinking it would be possible to get away with using the 750 model gavita, and training my plants early at around 20-24' using chicken wire in veg. Maybe using light movers and fans would help to alleviate some of the potential light bleaching?

Is my room too low to run gavitas? If it is too low to run them, what other ballasts/bulbs would you guys recommend?

The part I like least....is the part about the chicken wire..... use 2 x 3 inch wire if you are going to use hard wire like that....

You wont need 3 feet .... Im just starting with gavita 1000's but my first runs are only at 600.....

I posted this thread as an experiment.....it will finish in a month or so......

I will update with pics before harvest....

This light is at about 7 feet and I have both a screen and vertical plants....

I have 4 gavita...... one I use in veg....the other 3 are flowering....

Im just doing some experiments..... I have been pretty far from the plants....

but I have some vertical plants around the sides as well....

My next grow will be flat....5 by 5 and about 24 inches from canopy...... I think....

I use a double screen as well.... I presume he is using the wire to support the plants but Im not sure hes gaining much.....

I dont care for the inflexible nature and small holes.....

just sayin....

I make a screen using pvc screws and string.....and unstring for harvest....

In the room I posted .... that room was begging for 1000 but I wanted to see what 600 can do first......

I want to see what the electricity buys me....

running a new 750 e in veg anywhere from 4 to 600 while vegin, now there about 12 inches of the light and bleaching a bit , flipped at 3 feet but was a bit quick for me,have been s/cropped etc. the 750s seem hotter to me compared with the 1000, running hand underneath seems to me to be more intense sort of heat, temp running about 25 to 28 c where I always run. this room is only 7feet. there in flower at moment waiting on room.
