So looking over ACE strains, the Zamaldelica x Kalichina has a decent bump of CBG to it.
zamaldelica also has a decent amount, but Kalichina doesn’t show it so I’m assuming that came down from the Zamaldelica side of the cross.
Is the High CBG originating from the Zamal? Or is it coming from the Malawi or Thai side of things?

I ask because a good friend of mine down here is trying to work out some high CBG plants for medical studies and use.

Both lines can have cbg content but zamal has particularly high levels. Most nevil haze hybrids have around 1 percent cbg. I've seen zamals at 3 to 4. Now I also read a paper where a complete cbg phenotype was found in malawi 90 percent cbg 10 percent cbd.
Cbg is created in a line with a deficient cbd synthase or thc synthase. When a plant has both synthases deficient you get the full cbg chemotype. Another interesting fact is tge trait appears to be additive. For example super silver haze known to have over 2 percent while each parent has 1 percent.

Congo has nice CBG numbers, 2.34%
Panama x Bangi Haze has 3%

CBG is not the same as when you See the Bee Gees.

I hadn’t seen that the Panama x Bangi was high in it also. That’s good to know since I have a bunch more of those seeds as well.
