CBD content related to age of buds?

They say that THC turns to CBD over time and is more present in clear buds...

I think that if you pick the bud prior to the plant maturing completely and turning trichomes amber, it's more of a sativa type of active high. when you let plant live it's full life and completely mature it's buds, it's more of a moroccon resin smell to the smoke and mellow stone.
