Our cats were playing like mad during the night or saw a fox or another cat through the window,,,,
While chasing each other around like rockets,,our boy jumped down on my laptop,,,
When I opened it this morning,,,,,screen was no good and took it to local computer place and the chap showed me that I had a huge crack across the screen,,,
Computer shop just rang,,,,new lcd screen and £95 for the repair,,
Cats won't be getting there "dreamies" treats tonight ,,,,
When that wild bit kicks in then our Burmese become very naughty but so bloody fast,,,,,s2

Were they watching "The Cat From Hell" show streamed from TV cable? My old cat runs like that every day for a couple minutes. Then he takes a nap on the couch. I wonder if it is the fan leaves he eats that make him crazy like that?

Ha ha Bombay! ,,last night I thought they were possessed,,,,being in the middle of Epping forest and all the animal and bird noises drives them a tad crazy,,,,,

My Samsung pad computer just choked, at the age of 3 months. With zero cat interference. Didn't drop it or anything.

Speaking of cats ... I have a kitten in a trap waiting for a family to come by and look at her.

A neighborhood stray cat that nobody has paid to have neutered, had a litter.


& I still don't know what cat piss Weed smells like.

Honestly that doesn't sound too bad for a computer repair. Could have been way worse. Around a hundred bucks USD?

Samsung better honor that warranty, Phatty. 3 month's, that's bullshite. I bought the Amazon 7" Fire Tablet last year for $30 during an online Black Friday deal. Works just as good as an iPad or other expensive pad IMO.

dude the screen costs 40 probably.

they're ripping you. but I guess that's just what it costs nowadays. just take the screen apart yourself. It literally just unclicks, Find the seam or whatnot or the line of separation and take it apart. find the LCD screen with the model # of your lappy.

I just had a feral cat escape into the ventilation duct of my house.

This is the part where I get to crawl underneath & roll around in the rat turds ... need to make sure there's no blockages and she can make it to the opening in the kitchen.

UPDATE:

The main duct for air blowing in (heating and cooling) is about 13 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches high.

The adult kitty (I just found a new home for her kittens) somehow crawled about 6 feet down a duct 4 inches diameter, to get to the main duct.

We were worried about her dying in the 4 inch duct. Turned on the fan and did a lighter test, it blew the lighter out = not blocked by a dead cat.

Also dropped some Philly Cheese-steak style onions down into the duct opening, in the kitchen, about a half cup. It disappeared within about 15 minutes.

Then I worked with the back door open, and another round of onions & meat in the duct, for about an hour. That food was un-touched. So maybe she escaped.

Meanwhile I have been hearing lots of cat stories ...
A/ Cat died in the heating duct and it was a big job cutting it out
B/ Cat got stuck in the duct opening, a story with a more happy ending.
